With that said, I’ll be heading home if you’re done.”

Still, she knew that he’d get annoyed if she continued trying to villainize Xavia, so she simply forced a smile as she replied, “…Yeah, that’s about it. Stay safe. Speaking of which, I’m sure I saw a cab leaving just as you arrived… Did you ride one over? I can give you a lift instead, you know? I don’t think that offering that is too much…”

Shaking his head, Zivon then said, “If you’re worried about Xav getting mad, she won’t. She knows I only see you as my sister. That aside, how much money did you pay your friend to remain silent? I’ll transfer it back to you.”

At the time, Xavia had been wondering where Zivon had gone off to. She had just been prepared to give him a call when she heard a car stopping in front of their home… and shortly after, she saw Zivon exiting the vehicle. Though she was relieved to see him, she couldn’t help but raise a brow when she saw who the driver was… He had been with Fiona this entire time?

Knowing that he had no reason to lie to her, Xavia ended up smiling as she said, “…I see. Well, now that you’re back, let’s head upstairs to watch a movie! Since we’re getting the kids home tomorrow, we should watch a kid’s movie with them then too.”
