Naturally, Xavia was slightly taken aback by his request. After all, that honestly came out of nowhere!

Noticing how startled she was, Zivon added, “…Look, I’ve been meaning to kiss you for the longest time… Also, I wasn’t expecting last night to be that dangerous. I just want to kiss you to celebrate the fact that we’re both safe, and that you truly haven’t fallen for another…”

Before Xavia could even reply, Zivon had already placed his hand on the back of her head to guide their lips together! As expected, Xavia’s eyes went wide in shock!

This was a kiss that was due four months ago, so Zivon wasn’t planning on holding back! Just like all their past kisses, he watched as she struggled a bit at the start before slowly going limp as she gave in to his sweetness… Finally, she was in his arms again… Alas, the fact that he could now do this to her again instantly made him want to enter her!

Before the two could get any further, however, a knock suddenly came from the door… and upon hearing that, Xavia was quick to snap out of it and inch away from him! She was just in time to stop Fiona, who had just burst into the ward, from spotting their kiss!

Speaking of Fiona, tears were running down her cheeks as she wailed, “Why…?! Why would you do such a thing to me, Zivon…?!”

Upon hearing that, Xavia instantly went silent, not even sure how to reply.

As for Zivon, he shot Fiona an icy glare as he retorted, “Oh, she’s worth it all right… For one, she doesn’t try to poison others just to have her way! Don’t think I don’t know that you’ve been supplying Whitney with the poisons she needed to hurt Xav!”

Watching as Fiona’s eyes widened in shock, Zivon added, “Previously, I had been wondering for the longest time how Whitney had broken out of jail, and how a numbskull like her had successfully poisoned the Tansyoko… And finally, I was able to put two and two together yesterday!”
