Looking at their interaction, Xavia couldn’t help but frown a little. After all, Zivon had been gentle toward her this entire time, so the fact that he was suddenly being so hostile made her a little nervous.

Shaking her head, she meekly muttered, “…Hey, let him off the hook, alright…? He already explained that there’s never been a cure for this…”

Feeling his anger slowly dissipate, Zivon took a deep breath before growling, “…Get the drip ready for her. Stat.”

Within minutes, Xavia was lying on a hospital bed, and Zivon quickly headed off to check her in.

During his absence, Dolly couldn’t help but mutter, “…He was kind of scary earlier, but when I realized that he was only mad for your sake, I found it kind of sweet…”
