Once Zayne had picked up, Zivon was quick to ask, “Send me information regarding pregnancy reactions.”

“…Come again? You can’t be serious, right? I had only been kidding the other day!” replied the shocked doctor.

“I have some time to kill, so I may as well.”

…Yeah, sure. ‘Had some time to kill’… Still, maybe he could gain something from this exchange… With that, Zayne eventually replied, “…Fine. I’ll send the documents over once I’ve highlighted the important details.”

“Didn’t you say you were busy? I’ll just get Nathan to pick it up from you.”

“It’s my day off today, so I’ll just come over.”

Since Zayne kept insisting, Zivon simply left it at that… and within the hour, Zayne arrived in his limited-edition sports car. Dressed in a casual suit and with his hair combed nicely, he looked much more handsome than usual.

Though it was evident that he had dressed that way on purpose, Zivon paid it no attention. Instead, he simply took the document before saying, “I’m starting research immediately, so I’m in no mood to chat around with you.”

Zivon was hoping to make a breakthrough during Xavia’s two-day absence… To his annoyance, however, Zayne simply followed him into the villa before saying, “Oh, don’t be like that… Speaking of which, isn’t it a bit too quiet in here…? Where’s Xavia?”

“Dolly brought her on a short trip, and they’ll only be returning in two days.”

When he heard that, Zayne instantly looked disappointed as he grumbled, “…Ah. I see. You should’ve told me before I came over…”

“…What?”

Either way, since Xavia had been an expert in such things since childhood, it didn’t take long for her to gather the best ingredients she could find.

Jenna, however, couldn’t even tell the vegetables apart!
