To the duo’s surprise, however, Zivon simply traveled back and forth between the Burton manor and his lab in the next few days. What’s more, his responses toward Xavia’s messages were all indifferent… And to top it all off, Zivon was apparently meeting another woman in secret!

“From what I’ve gathered, that woman goes by Dolly, and she’s Xavia’s best friend. Dolly has apparently divorced recently, and she’s been living in Zivon’s home ever since. It’s also worth mentioning that Zivon was the one who helped her deal with the divorce procedures, and because of that… I think it’s safe to assume that the two are having an affair.”

“Zivon has also been getting involved with the sister of Zayne Xenos, his long-time friend. She just returned from abroad, and from what I can guess, Zivon is toying with both their hearts and treating them like mistresses…”

Looking at the photos that Fred, his assistant, had placed on the table, Liam eventually sneered before scoffing, “I guess he’s not that righteous after all…! I can only imagine what will happen if we send these photos to his wife!”

Eyes widening, Fred was quick to exclaim, “That would surely make their quarrel worse! If we can escalate things enough, they’ll surely divorce too! We just need to give Zivon enough family affairs to deal with for us to finally get our opportunity to strike! It’s a foolproof plan!”

Smirking in response, Liam then organized the pictures before handing them to Fred as he ordered, “Get to it, then.”

“Right away, Boss!”

Moving back to Xavia, she had gotten increasingly frustrated over Zivon’s absence and iciness.

‘Are you busy? What’s your big project like?’

‘I am.’

Either way, upon arriving at the living room, the initially overjoyed Xavia couldn’t help but feel increasingly disappointed. After all, though the man sitting there had a bouquet of flowers in hand and several exquisite desserts laid out on the table, it wasn’t Zivon at all! It was Keith!

“…What are you doing here, Keith…?” asked the disheartened woman.

Jenna herself was left slightly taken aback. After all, she still remembered everything that she had done with Keith, from the good, to the absolute worst… Thankfully, Keith had been too invested in Xavia to even notice Jenna’s presence!

Walking up to her, Keith then said, “I was in the area when I saw an old woman selling flowers. Since I remembered that you really liked pink flowers, I got some for you. Besides, I read somewhere that looking at flowers while pregnant can really improve a woman’s mood.”

It took her a while, but she eventually replied, “…Well, they do look lovely… Um… Have you eaten yet…?”
