After yelping and instinctively cowering in Zivon’s arms, Zivon himself raised a slight brow as he ordered, “Stop the car.”

Upon hearing that, the manager did as Zivon ordered… and almost immediately after, countless bats began crashing onto the windscreen! Though the multiple ‘thumping’ sounds were already terrifying enough, the manager soon widened her eyes as she exclaimed, “J-Jenna…! Look there…!”

Already scared half to death by this point, Jenna meekly peered through the hoard of flying bats… and soon, she saw it. An old woman drenched in blood, slowly limping toward them…! I-It couldn’t be…! Was that Xavia’s grandmother…?! Had she risen from the dead and become a zombie?!

As Jenna went pale, her terrified manager was prompted to whimper, “S-she’s here for us, Jenna-”

“Shut up! W-what on earth are you even going on about?!” interrupted Jenna. Though she was afraid, she couldn’t allow Zivon to find out about all that she had done…!

Realizing the risk, Jenna quickly calmed herself before ordering, “…E-either way, get out and see who’s playing this prank on us! We’re arresting her if it’s the last thing we do…!”

This, of course, left the manager speechless. After all, she didn’t have the courage to do so! However, she knew better than to disobey Jenna, so all she could do was nod weakly before grabbing an emergency taser…

Before the manager could leave, however, Zivon was prompted to say, “I’ll do it.”

Following that, the prestigious man got out without even giving a chance for the two to object. Somehow, the bright headlights shining behind him only accentuated how godlike he looked… Regardless, the second Xavia saw him, she found her eyes widening. Zivon was with Jenna again…!

She had only chosen to initiate this plan tonight since she knew that Zivon disliked coming to the Lockhart Mansion. The fact that he had actually decided to come over with Jenna could only mean one thing… And that was that he had truly fallen for her…!

Following that, the two entered the Lockhart Mansion side by side… and from Xavia’s point of view, the two looked incredibly intimate from start to end, prompting her to sneer.
