Once we hit American soil we got into the SUV that Harley had taken the week before, the ride back to the compound was silent, Harley kept her eyes out the window for the majority of it. "You alright kitten?" I ask taking my eyes off the road quickly to look over to her, "Yeah, just thinking of the ass whopping Shelby's going to give me" She laughs. "If it makes you feel any better Gunner will most likely be getting one too, apparently the kitchen has been set on fire 3 times so far, I'll be surprised if the place is still standing".

I pull up to the large metal gate as Blade comes over to greet us, "Nice to have y'all back" He says with a smile, Harley turns her head to look at him in the driver's window "Go fuck yourself Blade, couldn't open the fucking gate when I asked?" She growls at him, "Sorry Harley, you know the rules. But I will way I was impressed" He smirks before walking back over to the gate to open it.

We drive in and I park the car near the other SUVs and get out, "Ready?" I ask putting my arm around her shoulders "As I'll ever be" She mumbles in reply, we walk up the steps and open the wooden doors to utter chaos, Shelby and Gunner are screaming at each other alcohol bottles are smashed across the room and chairs are scattered around the floor.

"What the fucks going on?" Harley yells both of their heads snap to the sound of her voice. Shelby squeals and waddles over as quickly as she can over to Harley, she pulls her in for a hug before pulling back and punching her arm, "You asshole! You left me with a bunch of wild animals you could have taken me withy ou at least?! A week in Mexico! MEXICO!" She exclaims, Harley laughs at her before replying, "You can't fly dumbo, not until those tiny crotch goblins are out".

Gunner moves Shelby out of the way and hugs Harley next, he whispers something into her ear and she laughs before breaking the hug, "I hear you beat my old man" She raised her eyebrows at him, his body tenses at first but relaxes once she smiles, "Thank you" She says with a wink.

Gunner looks over to me and laughs, "Look's like you beat your old man" He jokes. Harley freezes instantly and tenses slightly, "I'm going to go and find Betty and dad" I nod and kiss her. Gunner goes to speak but I stop him, I watch her leave the room and I turn my attention back to him, "It's a sensitive subject with her, I don't think she will talk about it" I say watching the door in case she comes back in, "But she did beat your ass" Gunner says with a smirk.

"Yeah and it looks like Shelby was about to beat yours," I say eyeing the mess on the floor, "I'm sorry, I just wanted to know when Harley was coming back and Gunner wouldn't tell me anything" She grits through her teeth, I nod my head at her before turning back to Gunner, "You have to be a bigger dumbass than me, didn't you tell me to tell Harley everything yet you keep something so simple from your woman?" I reply, Shelby smiles and walks out of the room.

"Now, you're going to tell me what the fuck is going on here while I watch you clean up your mess," I say gesturing to the broken glass on the floor, I sit down on a barstool and pull out a cigarette, "But it was Shelby" He whines. "Damn dude, throw her under the bus a little harder next time. I'm not making a heavily pregnant woman clean, so now it's your mess" I say as I inhale the smoke.

Over the next half an hour I watch gunner clean the room and floor as he runs me through what had happened while I was gone. "Damn this place looks almost brand new, maybe you should be pulled as VP and made into a rotter" Harley jokes as she walks behind the bar, "I'm prettier than all of them" Gunner replies as he flicks his nonexistent hair over his shoulder.

"So I was thinking, I might stay behind the bar for a while, make drinks stuff like that" Harley says as she runs her fingers over the bottles of alcohol, "Any reason?" I ask watching her. "Everyone's somewhat safer if there's a large bar between us, until I learn how to control my anger anyways," She says turning around to face me.

Shark Eye's walks in next and walks over to us inspecting my face, "Damn she got you good" He says quietly before he sits down on the barstool next to me. "What did you forget to tell me, dad?" She asks leaning against the bar top, "I have some presents for you" He says happily, he gestures us to follow him and we do down to the basement, we walk in as he leads us down to the holding cells.

Cell after cell sits a different person, at least 15 of them. "What's all this?" I ask looking over each of the men sitting in the cells with gags in their mouths, "Tried to steal some of our bikes while we were partying, turns out they're a small gang trying to get in the drug-running business, were going to sell our bikes for money to buy drugs" Shark Eye's says as he looks over each of them, "How exactly are they presents for me?" Harley asks turning her attention to her father.

"well I know how hard it is to control the anger you have inside of you, I know how much you struggle to keep your demons at bay, so these are some chew toys for you. Come down here when you want to kill one of us and kill one of them instead" He says with a smile on his face, she walks over to one of the men, he has short blonde hair and blue eyes, no visible tattoos extremely pale skin.

She looks at him for a second going over all of his features, he attempts to smirk at her with the gag still in his mouth "He's first" She growls the smirk fell off his face as soon as the words left her mouth, "Right now?" Shark Eye's asks confused, she shakes her head no still staring at the man on the floor, "When the times right, but he's first" She points her finger at him "Thank you dad" She turns around and gives him a kiss on the cheek before walking off.

It's been 4 days since Harley's been home and as she said shes put herself behind the bar every day, I still don't really understand what a piece of wood is going to do to stop her from shooting or stabbing someone but if she believes it will work I'm all for it. But tonight we have a drop and have to leave them here by themselves with some prospects, I need all the men I can get to do this drop. Word going around is that the asshole that put a hit on Harley is planning on attacking us when we get to the drop off point, we have some sister charters coming in to help us too.

"I don't have a good feeling about this" Gunner says as he walks into the armoury, I slide a pistol into my holster and turn my head to look at him "Neither do I but we have back up, none of the boys could find anything about where the threats are coming from, got no idea what or who we are up against" I reply as he walks over to me and begins to pick out his weapons of choice.
