- Jax -
"Harley, don't you fucking think about it" She turns to look at me and her face says it all, she's actually fucking considering it, "She's right Jaxon, how long can I escape death? I've shed so much blood its only fair" She turns around to face the woman standing infront of Elijah's cot, the sound of our front doors being kicked open echo throughout the house followed by heavy footsteps, the older woman puts the gun she's holding on the small table next to her and holds her hands up in the air as if she's giving herself up.
The first three people in the room are Gunner, Blaze and Ice 2 of them I didn't expect at all. Gunner raises his gun and aims at the random woman as Harley just stares at her, "Shark Eye's has Elijah" Gunner says to both of us, "Is that your boy, Elijah?" The older woman asks "Keep my son's name out of your filthy fucking mouth, the only reason you're still fucking standing is because I want to know what type of loony bin let you into the free world. In what fucking decade is it okay to break into someone's house and ask them to play a game of Russian Roulette?".
"In the same decade it's okay to break into a cemetery to steal a baby's ashes" She grins at us and my heart almost stops, I see Harley's body tensing infront of me as the older woman pulls a small pink teddy urn, the same urn we used to put our daughter to rest. "How did you get that?" Harley growls at her taking a step forward but the older lady takes a step to the open window, "I don't think so darling, take another step and what you have left of your daughter will be tipped out the window before you can even blink".
Gunner takes the safety off and the woman moves her hand closer to the window "DON'T" Harley yells causing both of them to stop, "Put the gun down Gunner" She says not bothering to look at him, she won'T take her eyes off of the woman standing before her, "Harlz" He begins "Put the fucking gun down Gunner, now" She says a little softer as her voice breaks between small sobs, Gunner does as she says and returns his gun to his waistband. "Blaze I need you to get the men to search the property, into the woods, higpoints for snipers fucking everything. Let the dogs out of the basement I'm sure they're hungry again" I don't bother looking over to him but I know he's gone because his footsteps fade into the distance.
"Gunner get the women and kids to the basement in the clubhouse until it's been fully searched, Ice you're staying here, I guess you get to prove just how loyal you are" Gunner nods and makes his way downstairs as Ice walks to my side and looks over to me, "Have you got a plan?" I nod my head "We need her away from the window, Harley won't let that urn go anywhere". Ice takes a step forward and looks back to me before touching Harley's shoulder, her head snaps around and her face slightly softens when she sees him, "You don't need to do this Harley" He beings speaking slowly to her.
"I do, that's mine and Jax's baby, nothing either of you says will change my mind, she's not here but she's still family and I will not let her go" She says looking back to the small urn, and she's right, if I stopped her from doing this she would never forgive me, if I didn't plan it properly and she threw the urn she would also never forgive me, there's nothing I can fucking do except watch and hope that we are given 3 seconds of grace to make the shot.
The lady moves to the other side of the room to the opposite window before reaching for the gun again placing it infront of Harley, I look to my side and realize Ice has left my side, some fucking brother he is, at least I have my answer. "your first, darling" Harley looks behind her one more time at me and my chest tightens so much I cant actually breath any air in, "You take care of our boy if something happens" She smiles and nods her head before sitting down opposite the woman, "You out of here, just her and I", I shake my head and laugh at her "I'm not leaving my wife" She shakes the small urn in her hands "Puddin, just go, please. I love you" Harley begs.
"I love you too Harley" I walk out and close the door behind me before sliding down to sit on the floor against it, theres nothing i can do, i just hope she can escape the hands of death one more time. I rest my head in my hands and listen for any movement or noises, eventually, the sound of an empty gun clicking is the only thing I can hear followed by a few seconds of silence before it clicks again the sound of heavy footsteps bring me out of my thoughts and I'm met by Shark Eye's, "It's her isn't it?" His face looks so defeated all I do is nod.
As I get off the floor to stand he opens the door and storms in, "Put the gun down princess" Harley clicks the trigger and an empty round goes off, she passes the gun back to the woman infront of her. "Get up Harley, this has nothing to do with you" He growls at her, I've never heard him be so stern with her before, "Dad it's me she wants," Harley says looking at the small urn on the window sill. Shark Eye's grabs Harley by the arm and drags her up shoving her into me before sitting down himself.
"No, dad don't, please let me do it" Harley screams and begins to thrash in my arms, "Boy you better hold onto her and get her out of here right now" Harley tries harder to fight me off but I use all my strength to try and hold her, "Daddy, please don't" She pleads with him, he turns his head to look at her and smiles "I love you princess, but this is for me to deal with, not you. Jaxon get her out of the house NOW" He nods his head at me and I nod back no matter how much I don't want too.
