Of the A. C. Laris stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Rebellious Angel. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 6. Let's read the author's Rebellious Angel A. C. Laris story right here.
Dismounting his horse he nodded. "Then wait here, I will go check,"
Walking down the steep path of rocks he neared a small waterfall. Climbing down a bit further he saw her.
His heart slammed in his chest thinking the worst. Walking closer he noticed her sitting there wet and staring at the waterfall.
He called her name. Red rimmed
eyes stared at him.
Startled from her thoughts she stood up to face him.
" The whole keep is in a frenzy looking for you," He said.
She looked away.
"I am here to take you back," He answered coming close.
In a frustrated voice she turned and answered snapping. "I can go home on my own."
"Aye, that is true, but regardless you are not going home alone. I will escort you," His voice was stern.
Not moving she stood her ground. He watched as she lifted her chin defiantly and clutched her fists.
"Don't make this difficult Brienna, either you walk up this hill or I throw you over my shoulder and take you, you choose." Hopping down the last rock he walked slowly towards her.
Standing her ground she wanted to bolt like a scared doe, but she refused to run. Her heart fluttered rapidly.
"You can't do that. You wouldn't dare," She warned backing away as he came within an arms length of her.
With that warning he pulled her close with her protests and screams threw her over his shoulders and with quick strides he walked up the hill.
She kicked and punched his back as hard as she could. Announcing that he found her. He mounted his horse with her on his shoulder. Yanking her down he settled her before him in his saddle.
" Settle down before this horse throws us both off to the ground." He hissed.
"Let me go!" She cried.
Quickly he grabbed her by the back of her head and pulled her close His grey eyes grew dark. "I said settle down. Don't try my patience Brienna"
