Gavin and his crew rushed home, all excited, only to be met with the housemaid's news: "Young Master hasn't come back yet."

Gavin's face visibly darkened.

Benjamin quickly tried to soothe him. "Dad, he used to hang out with the McCoy family a lot. Maybe after getting out, he headed there first."

Gavin nodded, finding this reasonable. "Call Frankie and check if your brother's with her," he instructed Benjamin.

"Got it." Benjamin pulled out his phone to make the call.

Gavin plopped onto the couch, grumbling, "He's got a bum leg and he's still wandering around instead of coming home. It's worrying. At his age, he should know better."

Ashley chimed in softly, "Uncle, if I may, you're being too hard on Nathan. Maybe he doesn't want to come back at all. Coming to the Rowland family might’ve been a mistake. I’m heading over to the McCoy family to find him."

With that, Ashley ignored Gavin’s troubled expression and walked out.

Suddenly, Gavin hurled his teacup to the floor in a fit of anger. "Fathers and sons shouldn't hold grudges forever. Does he plan to resent me for life? Our family almost went bankrupt because of his reckless spending, and I didn't even hold it against him. How can he still be mad about the past?"

After finishing his call with Mrs. McCoy, Benjamin turned pale, his voice shaking, "Dad, my brother isn't at the McCoy family."

Gavin was taken aback.

"If he's not with the McCoy family, then where is he?"

Nathan was missing.

Lizzy brought her some tea and took the apple away. "Sis, the doctor said your stomach's sensitive. Avoid raw and cold fruits. Have some hot tea instead."

Nathalie absentmindedly took the tea, then instructed Lizzy with a sly grin, "Go next door and borrow some aloe vera. Just say I need it for a face mask."

Lizzy paused, puzzled. "Borrowing aloe vera for a face mask?"

The excuse was pretty weak.

"Sis, you're the richest in the Capital now. Don’t you have access to high-end face masks? Ashley will see right through this excuse and accuse you of ulterior motives."

Nathalie sheepishly admitted, "I do have ulterior motives. I just want to know how Nathan's doing over there. Is he adjusting to the new setup? Does he need anything? The McCoy household isn't exactly rolling in cash; I don’t want Nathan to go without."
