Nathalie introduced herself, "Hi, I'm Vivian, here to see your master. And this is Morris. He's hoping to make a connection at Vincent Corporation today."

The gatekeeper greeted them warmly, "Just a moment, I'll let him know you're here."

It wasn't long before the gatekeeper returned, looking a bit grim. "Ashley, I'm sorry, but my master isn't seeing anyone today."

Nathalie was momentarily caught off guard, though she had already suspected as much. "Nathan, it looks like we might've rubbed the Sharp family the wrong way yesterday, and now they're not too fond of us. What do we do?" she fretted, pacing nervously. She could break ties with the Sharp family, but Morris was here to reconnect. If he was turned away, it would be a tough road ahead.

Morris gave her a reassuring smile, "Don't worry, Nathalie."

He pulled a ring from his pocket and handed it to the gatekeeper. "Please give this to Mr. Jules. If he sees it and still doesn't want to meet us, we won't bother him again."

The gatekeeper hesitated but finally agreed. "Alright, I'll give it another shot. If he still says no, you have to promise not to push it."

"Absolutely."

The gatekeeper took the ring inside.

Inside the study, Jules heard the gatekeeper's voice and frowned. "Didn't I say I wasn't meeting with Ashley and Mr. Rowland?"

The gatekeeper, a bit on edge, explained, "Sir, the young man in the wheelchair sent this for you. He said if you see it and still don't want to meet, he'll leave you be."

Jules put down his pen, chuckling dryly. "Trying to bribe me? What a rookie move. Didn't he do any research before coming here? I can't stand corruption or bribery."

He waved them off impatiently. "Send them away."
