"It seems someone can't stand you and wants to teach you a lesson," Liesel remarked mockingly.

Natalie turned to Jacob with a wronged expression. It seemed like she wanted him to speak up for her.

Jacob's gaze darkened. After a moment, he took the phone and asked coldly, "Did you do this, Liesel?"

He simply asked, but Liesel fell silent for a long time.
