On the outskirts near Astonburg, there was a heavily guarded chemical plant in Betrico. 

Inside the luxurious office on the top floor of the chemical plant, a dynamic middle–aged man was standing in front of a giant screen, playing indoor simulated golf. 

Someone knocked on the door, and two bodyguards in black suits entered. 

The leading bodyguard walked up behind the middle–aged man, looked down, and said emotionlessly, “Boss, he’s missing!” 

Hearing this, the middle–aged man stopped what he was doing, turned around, and showed a gloomy look. 

The next moment, he swung the golf club hard at the bodyguard in the black suit, who immediately fell to the ground, unable to move. 

“So many of you couldn’t even manage a helpless person lying in bed! Am I paying you to just stand around?” the middle- aged man shouted angrily.

The middle–aged man pinched the bridge of his nose and asked, “Did you check the license plate?” 

The bodyguard replied, “We did, but there’s no information at all about that car. It’s like someone is deliberately protecting 

it.” 

The middle–aged man fumed and said, “How dare someone snatch him from me without even asking! Spread the word, search everywhere. We have to find Roy! 

“And when you find those two, just kill them!” 

The bodyguard nodded and replied, “Yes, we’ll give it our all!” 

With that, he dragged the unconscious bodyguard out of the office. 

The middle–aged man, looking dissatisfied, walked over to his desk and picked up a cigar. 

He lit it, took a couple of deep drags, and exhaled a cloud of smoke. 

After another two puffs, the man picked up the phone on the desk and dialed a number 

When the call connected, a playful woman’s voice came through, “Hey, Felix, what’s up? I’m at the spa now!” 

The middle–aged man’s expression softened at her voice, a far cry from the fierce look just moments ago. He said, “Mandy, Roy is missing.” 

Mandy was shocked. The middle–aged man was Felix Lewis, the head of the Lewis family in Betrico.
