In less than ten minutes, all the customers at Ebb & Flow had been cleared out, leaving only the lone figure in rose–red by the bar and the soft strains of love songs playing.

The staff member was momentarily dazzled by her arrival again He whispered into his earpiece, “Target spotted, then stepped forward to greet Cherise. “Ms. Leach, you’re here. Ms. Xenakis is drinking inside. Our boss asked me to bring you 

in.” 

Cherise nodded and followed the staff member inside. 

It was the same hallway as last time. Just a turn, and she could see the familiar stage. Happy memories flooded back, making her smile slightly. 

Then, she glanced toward the bar, where she saw Dora sitting alone, a few empty glasses before her, isolated and solitary. 

Cherise took out her phone and snapped a photo of Dora’s back then casually sent it to Liam. Once the image was successfully sent, she quickly typed a line: [At Ebb & Flow. Do what you need.] 

Without waiting for a response, she put her phone away and walked over, sitting on the barstool next to Dora

After finishing the video, he picked up the Baileys and a glass, placing them somewhat unwillingly in front of Cherise. Cherise glanced at the bottle, then turned to the tipsy Dora and said softly, “Feeling better? If not, I’ll join you for a drink.” With that, she picked up the bottle of Baileys, gave it a gentle twist, and the cap came off smoothly. She poured a bit into her glass, then elegantly lifted it.
