After a brief introduction of the three judges, today’s piano competition kicked off 

The host outlined the rules “Each contestant will perform and res rive scores and feedback from our three judges. julge can give a maximum score of 10 points. 

Once all 20 contestants have performed, the top three with the highest total scores from the judges will directly earn spots as intern pianists at the Clusia Pianists‘ Association 

Furthermore, after the scoring, each judge can choose their favorite contestant among the top three to mentor and develop 

based on their expertise. 

This change in rules was only decided this morning, allowing judges to better teach contestants aligned with their style.

“I hope my score lands me in the top three–that would move me a step closer to Master Arlina.”

Miles, a young man with above–average looks and an air of confidence, stepped onto the stage in a black tailcoat and white shirt, showing no sign of nerves. 

Once ready. Miles began playing powerful and resonant notes that filled the entire concert hall. The piece he chose was challenging, and his performance was smooth and nearly flawless 

After he finished, the three judges conferred, and Liam gave a concise critique of Miles‘ performance. 

He said. “This contestant has solid technical skills and fundamentals. There was one part where his fingerwork could have been stronger, but overall, it’s impressive. I hope you continue to improve.” 

The judges then scored him in the order of Liam, Tina, and Arlina: 9, 10, and 8. Such high scores right out of the gate sparked admiration from the audience. 

Next up was Melody from Broania University, a freshman girl with an adorable appearance who also performed exceptionally well. 

She chose to play “Summer, a piece perfectly suited to the season, with its lively and upbeat rhythm that painted vivid pictures.
