Xenia’s words lightened the heavy atmosphere in the room. 

Seraphina beamed at Cherise and Xenia, saying. I’m so happy slay. It feels like I have two more daughters. Xenia is adorable, just like I was at her age. Our Jason is truly blessed. 

“Hubby, I think we can stay in Clusia a bit longer. What do you 

think?” 

Warren, indulgent of his wife, replied, “Sure, now that we’ve found Cherise, there’s no need for us to leave at all.” 

Seraphina laughed, “Perfect. This way, I don’t have to return to that awful place abroad with you.” 

During the meal, they avoided discussing the past, focusing instead on light topics, which kept the atmosphere lively and filled with laughter. 

Afterward, the four drove Jason’s parents‘ home. 

They had their own place in the Betrico and didn’t live with Rayburn, so their trip was relatively private, though a few people spotted them leaving the hotel.

“Yulia, you’re looking for me?” Rita stepped out of the room. 

Yulia turned to see her grandmother, now dressed in a housecoat that made her appear more approachable. 

“Grandma, I knocked on the door and there was no answer, so I thought you were asleep,” Yulia said. 

Rita smiled, “No, I was reading and didn’t hear you. What’s the matter? Why are you looking for me so late?” 

Yulia approached her and replied, “Ms. Quinton from the Quinton family called me half an hour ago. She mentioned she saw Jason, Morris, Cherise, and others at Mondial Regalia.” 

Rita said, “Oh, Yulia, you’re overreacting Jason and Cherise are just colleagues. Having a meal together isn’t a big deal.” Yulia shook her head. “No, Grandma, it’s more than that. Warren and Seraphina seem to have returned to Clusia.” 

She pulled out her phone to show Rita a distant photo taken by isa. “Although the picture is blurry and it’s been years, Seraphina looks just the same and is instantly recognizable. Xenia from the Taylor family was with them too.

“Do you think it’s related to the party Grandpa is throwing? I asked my parents. But they didn’t know anything and didn’t seem to care. You know how my dad is, just like Grandpa.” 

Rita smiled and replied, “Don’t overthink. It’s getting late. You should head back. Since it’s your grandfather’s party, we dress appropriately and find out what’s happening then. 

“Besides, isn’t Xenia there too? I’ve heard she and Jason are close. They might even get engaged. Maybe Jason’s parents are back to meet her.”
