Jean called out several times. Truman heard her and paused his game. 

Turning his head, he looked at her and said, “Jean, what’s going ?” 

Jean awkwardly scratched her head and said, “I have to say that you look really familiar. 

That day at the reunion party of Cherise and the Muller family, thought you looked familiar, I just couldn’t remember you then.” 

Truman flicked her forehead. “Hey, girl, shouldn’t you be studying instead of using such old–fashioned lines to chat with a seasoned handsome guy like me?” 

Jean tilted her head, and her features scrunched up in confusion “Hey, why are you so full of yourself, dude?” 

The next moment, she slapped her thigh. “Oh, I remember now You’re the boss of Artiverse Entertainment, the biggest entertainment company in Clusia, with lots of celebrities under it. Isn’t that right?” 

This time, it was Truman’s turn to look confused, his expression bit unusual. “You are right. That’s me 

“But you just slapped my thigh, and it hurt me a lot.” 

He shifted slightly away from Jean as he said 

Jean immediately felt a bit awkward. “Mr. Simpson, I’m really sorry. I just got too excited.

Truman picked up his phone and then put it down. “What’s up? Are you into looks? Sorry to disappoint you, Jean. I like being single, thanks.” 

Jean shook her head, made a teasing noise, and took out a notebook from her bag, waving it in front of him. “Mr. Simpson, what are you thinking? I just want you to help me with my star chasing. 

“You know that rapper, Blessings? He’s super popular overseas. 

“Help me get an autograph, so I can show off to my friends from other countries.” 

Truman let out an awkward chuckle when he heard that, realizing it was just a big misunderstanding. “Haha, oh, I thought you had a crush on me.” 

As he said this, he took the notebook from Jean’s hand. “Blessing The one who looks like a giraffe, right? No problem. I’ll sign it and give it back to you.” 

“Thank you so much, Mr. Simpson. You’re so kind–hearted and cool,” Jean said happily. 

Ebb & Flow had practically become the favorite spot for the group to gather together.. 

The occasional hustle and bustle added a lot of fun to an otherwise dull life. 

Meanwhile, the long–silent Hawkins family seemed to be stirring again.

Today marked the trday since Garrick passed away.

Leading the group was Rita, followed by Gina, Yulia, and Hanni 

Hannia returned to pay respects to Garrick, and this wasn’t the first time; she was also there for the seventh–day memorial.
