Chapter 447 

A plane from Betrico International Airport landed smoothly at the largest airport in Astonburg, Fresburg. 

After a while, Yulia dragged her suitcase out of the airport to the arrivals hall. 

She paused, took a deep breath, and looked around at the familiar place she once called home. 

In the distance, a kind–looking middle–aged couple waved at her and shouted, “Yulia, over here!” 

Hearing the voices, Yulia looked over and gave a genuine smile that she hadn’t shown in a long time. Relieved, she ran towards them. 

“Dad, Mom,” Yulia said affectionately as she reached the middle–aged couple. 

They were Yulia’s parents, Toby Muller and Teresa Muller. 

Teresa spread her arms wide and gave Yulia a big hug, saying, “Welcome back, darling.” 

Toby watched them with a look of contentment. 

He had heard what happened back home from Rayburn and felt distressed. 

However, because it concerned Rita’s family, Toby couldn’t interfere with it. 

Toby and Teresa had already settled in Fresburg, living a free and unconstrained life, so they didn’t pay much attention to matters at home. 

“Will you ever go back?” Toby asked Yulia with a smile. 

Yulia simply said, “I haven’t had the plan for now. 

“Alright, let’s not talk about that. How about we go get something to eat? The airplane food didn’t agree with me.” 

Half an hour later, Yulia and her parents returned to their cozy villa in Fresburg after dinner. 

It was already late at night in Fresburg. Yulia opened her suitcase planning to unpack before taking a shower and going to bed. 

There was quite a bit of stuff, many of which were bought by Rita for Yulia, including food and some rare treasures from Clusia. 

It took quite a while for Yulia to unpack everything. 

Just as Yulia was about to zip up the suitcase and put it in the closet, something red fell out. 

Yulia bent down to pick it up and mumbled, “Oh, it’s the lucky pouch Grandma gave me.” 

She pursed her lips, thinking she probably wouldn’t return to Clusia, and decided to open the pouch. 

Inside was a piece of 

paper. 

Yulia opened it casually, but her eyes widened in shock when she read the note. 

Then she quickly crumpled the paper into a ball, tightly holding it in her palm.

The next day, at the Ghost Hand base in the Yoderia Basin, the terrible alarm sounded again. 

Hearing it, Mary, Damian, and Charles reluctantly got up. 

Cherise looked at the three of them and asked, “Didn’t you sleep well last night? You call have serious dark circles under y eyes.” 

The three of them nodded together and mumbled, “Yeah.” 

Mary said in fear, “Every time I closed my eyes, I thought about the scary situation you’ll face today. I couldn’t sleep. I wa scared. It’s like it’s the first time in my life I’ve been this frightened.” 

Charles sighed and said, “If it had been in the past when we were still outside, we might have been able to help you. 

“But unfortunately, we’re all struggling to fend for ourselves here.” 

Cherise felt quite touched, realizing everyone else was losing sleep because of her. 

Damian and Charles, who were very important to Clusia, barely knew Cherise, yet they cared about her so much. 

Suddenly, someone knocked on the door rudely and shouted, “Hurry up 

and get out! Don’t waste time. Boss has arrived.” 

The four people in the room looked at each other. Reluctantly, they got up, opened the door, and walked out. 

All the kidnapped people were already outside, having breakfast and waiting. 

Today’s breakfast was still the same as before. 

It was just bread with risotto. 

Ghost Hand was already sitting there leisurely, seemingly waiting just for Cherise. 

Cherise gave him a disdainful glance, finished her risotto first, and slowly nibbled the bread in her hand. 

For her, nothing was more important than filling her stomach, especially today. 

Mary was now truly worried, tears almost welling up

Cherise gave Mary a knowing smile, leaned in close, and whispered, “Thank you, Grandma Mary, but you can have the bread yourself. 

“Soon, we’ll get to eat real meat.” 

Mary couldn’t bring herself to smile, thinking Cherise was just trying to comfort her. She couldn’t say anything more. 

Morris had left from Betrico half an hour ago. 

It was clear he looked really eager.
