Morris noticed how much Cherise liked her swimsuit, and he hesitated to voice the feelings of jealousy that filled his mind. 

He simply held Cherise’s hand and led her down to the first floor using the hotel’s private elevator. 

The hotel had prepared a dune buggy for Morris in advance. 

As they emerged into the open air, Morris quickly scanned for any onlookers, then carefully helped Cherise into the passenger seat. 

Cherise gave him a puzzled look. “Mr. Chivers, why do you seem so… odd? You look a little nervous.” 

Morris glanced at her from the driver’s seat. “Really? Maybe it’s just because I’m so excited to be spending the day with you. I’ve been on edge since yesterday.” 

Cherise nodded, clearly buying the explanation. “Oh, well, let’s go! I haven’t seen the ocean in ages, and I’m really looking forward to it.” 

She flashed him a sweet smile. 

That smile made it impossible for Morris to resist, and he immediately pressed the accelerator, heading for the coast. 

When they reached the beach, Morris saw that many people were already in swimsuits. His jealousy eased a little, but it didn’t vanish completely. 

However, Cherise was so stunningly beautiful that many eyes were drawn to them. 

Morris could only silently sigh to himself. ‘It’s so terrible… I should have had the beach cleared before we arrived… 

With that thought, he pulled Cherise closer, wrapping his arm around her to stake his claim. 

The men on the beach who had been eyeing Cherise now quickly turned their attention away as they saw Morris‘ protective gesture and the cold, warning look in his eyes.

Morris had planned the day carefully, choosing activities he knew Cherise would love. 

Cherise was someone who enjoyed a challenge, and Morris had arranged for her to try out some waterboarding. 

The wind and waves were a bit strong here, so Morris drove the yacht to a secluded part of the sea before stopping. 

He turned to Cherise, who was ready to go. “Cherise, go ahead and have fun. Just be careful.” 

Cherise nodded, kissed his cheek, then confidently pushed the waterboard into the water. Gracefully, she leaped in, joyfully swimming beside the board. 

With ease, Cherise propped herself up and lay on the board. She gave Morris an “OK” gesture. 

Morris smiled fondly at her and then revved the yacht’s engine, speeding up. 

The boat’s engine kicked up waves, and Cherise, seeing the waves approaching, untied the board, holding it in her hands before slowly rising to her feet. 

Once steady, Cherise flashed Morris a bright smile, released the rope, and, with the wind and the waves, glided effortlessly across the water like a free–spirited seabird.

Seeing her so carefree, Morris couldn’t help but smile along with her. 

At that moment, he realized loving someone meant that when she smiled, he couldn’t help but laugh with her. 

Above them, a drone hovered, its four small propellers spinning recording the beautiful moments they shared together. 

By the time they came ashore, the sunset was beginning to dip below the horizon. 

Cherise, feeling a bit tired, half–lay on a lounge chair while Morris stood nearby, watching her. “Are you hungry?” he asked. Cherise nodded, pointing to a nearby drinks stand. “I’m thirsty. like some coconut water.” 

Morris smiled, clearly enjoying being the one to indulge her. “Alright, wait here.” 

With that, he strode toward the stand. 

As Morris walked away, a foreign man who had been eyeing Cherise for some time quickly approached her. 

Before he could get close, he called out. “Oh, beautiful lady, I’ve been watching you since you arrived at this beach. You’re so captivating, so sexy, like a muse. Can I get to know you? Maybe we can be friends?” 

Cherise heard him and chose to ignore him, continuing to stretch out and massage her calves from the workout earlier. The foreign man, seeing she wasn’t paying attention to him, felt his desire grow stronger. He took another step forward. At that moment, Cherise, who had seemed so relaxed, suddenly lifted her head and shot him a fierce, cold look. 

The foreign man flinched, but his innate arrogance wouldn’t let him back down.
