Arthur understood and agreed with Hank’s actions. He was quite proud of Hank. “Okay!”

Hank, seeing Arthur’s reluctance to leave, said just as he was about to enter the orphanage, “My mom is the best mom in the world and she’s very beautiful. She has her reasons for doing things. Please, don’t blame her.”

Arthur immediately replied, “Don’t worry, Hank. I’ve never blamed your mom. In fact, I should thank her. At my age, I never thought I’d suddenly have a son.”

He paused, as if he had more to say but didn’t know how to express it. But seeing Hank turning to leave, he couldn’t help but ask, “Hank, can I give you a hug?”

Hank stopped in his tracks instantly. If you looked closely, you could see his hands clenching slightly at his sides. He stood still for a long time. Just when Arthur was about to give up, Hank turned around and smiled at him.

Arthur was overjoyed. He quickly stepped forward and hugged Hank, who was almost as tall as he was, patting his back. “Good boy.”

Standing nearby, Mateo took out his phone and captured this touching moment. As he recorded, he muttered, “I have to admit, seeing two guys hugging isn’t as awkward as I thought. It’s actually pretty moving!” He wiped a tear from the corner of his eye.

After the hug, they each went back to their own duties.

Hank put his glasses back on, returning to his usual honest and dependable persona.

Arthur, on the other hand, returned to Betrico Central Mansions. The tenderness he showed when he saw Hank was gone, replaced by his usual stern demeanor.

At Taylor Vogue, Cherise had come over to make the final adjustments to the bridesmaid dresses. Assisting her were Xenia and Jean.

They had just finished up and were about to sit down for a cup of tea when Cherise received a message from Hank, [Ms. Leach, are you busy right now? Can we meet?]

Cherise immediately knew why Hank wanted to see her. She quickly turned on her real–time location and sent it to Hank, along with a text, [Come to this location to find me!]

Hank clutched his phone tightly after seeing the message. After a moment of hesitation, he took off his thick glasses, brushed his bangs aside, checked himself in the mirror, and finally left, satisfied with his appearance.

He rode his bike at breakneck speed and made it from the suburbs to downtown Taylor Vogue in less than half an hour.

Xenia had already instructed the staff to wait downstairs for a boy with big glasses, but the guy who showed up didn’t match the description.

The staff hesitated and called Xenia for confirmation, “Hey, boss, he says he’s Hank, but he doesn’t look like what you described. This guy is super handsome and doesn’t wear glasses.”

Xenia had the call on speaker. After hanging up, the three women exchanged glances.

Jean stood up and ran downstairs. When she saw the once–dorky boy now looking so dashing, she couldn’t help but laugh.

“Ms. Leach, I know it was you who detected our genetic connection. I’m really grateful to you. Without you, I wouldn’t have known what to do,” Hank said, looking at Cherise with gratitude. He continued, “I wonder how you figured it out, considering—”

“The real Hank passed away two years ago during that heatstroke incident, right?” Cherise interrupted before Hank could finish.
