Chapter 545

Stella hadn’t been sitting for long when she glanced at the time and realized her purpose for coming over had been accomplished. She decided it was time to head home.

As soon as she mentioned this, the three Jarretts in the room seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, though perhaps it was just her imagination.

They quickly recovered, however, and Jean, mindful of the fact that Stella was still her elder, stood up and offered to see her off

Stella had come today to dispel the rumors of discord between the Walton and Jarrett families that had arisen from the incident involving Lydia and Jean. She hadn’t given it much thought beyond that.

With Jean seeing her to the door, she left. But as soon as she stepped outside, the image of the young boy on the bicycle flashed through her mind again.

Stella was naturally a thoughtful and sensitive person, and for some reason, the boy had left her feeling uneasy. She took out her phone and called her brother, Tristan.

The call was answered quickly. “Hey, Stella, why are you calling me at this hour?”

Stella pursed her lips and paused for a moment before speaking, “Tristan, could you do me a favor?”

“Of course, what is it? I’m all ears!”

Taking a deep breath, Stella recounted what had just happened. “When I was leaving the Jarrett residence, I saw a young boy, around fourteen or fifteen.

“He rode out of there on a bicycle, and he looked just like Arthur. I mean, he was the spitting image. I think-

Tristan’s eyes widened in surprise. “Are you sure you didn’t make a mistake?” he asked, his tone becoming somewhat

anxious.

Sitting in the car, Stella shook her head. “No, I didn’t. I even followed him for a bit. The driver saw him too, but we lost him.” “Lost him?” Tristan repeated, feeling a mix of disbelief and inevitability. If the boy was indeed Arthur’s child, it wouldn’t be surprising that he had such keen awareness, given Arthur’s genetic predisposition.

Stella knew Tristan was puzzled and continued, “So, could you maybe look into who he is?”

Tristan paused for a moment before responding, “Alright, I’ll get back to you. Don’t overthink it. When you have time, go out with Lydia and clear your head

With Tristan’s permission, Stella didn’t exactly relax. She was still on edge, with no idea what she would do if her suspicions were confirmed. However, they had underestimated Hank’s capabilities.

When the staff informed Tristan of this, it posed a significant problem for him, who was both suspicious and meticulous. Just then, his top assistant entered the office after running an errand. “Mr. Walton!”
