With all elegance and grace, Cherise caught the eye of everyone in the Chivers Group lobby as she walked from the entrance to the front desk. 

The buzz of speculation filled the air–everyone was wondering who the radiant woman had come to see. Most bets were on Morris; after all, it was a common occurrence for admirers to show up looking for him. 

Yet, none ever got far, not even the A–lister, Melissa, who’d been politely but firmly sent on her way by the front desk. 

The two receptionists, in their sharp black suits, were transfixed the moment Cherise arrived. As she approached them, Cherise said, “Hi, I’m here to see Morris.”
