Gordon took her wrist to check her pulse. Perhaps it was her wishful thinking, but she thought that he had wanted to eat pasta with their fingers interlocked. 

“A weak stomach and poor blood flow. Still the same as last time.” 

He then asked, “Do you still have the keys to my place?” 

Mayra nodded. “Yes.” 

“When you return to Belchester, go to my room in Paramount Hall. I’ve prepared half a month’s worth of medicine for you. Take it for a while and then I’ll check on you again.” 

Mayra put down her fork and reached out to touch his face, rubbing it gently.” Wow, my boyfriend is so amazing…”
