Isabel subconsciously held Anderson's arm, leaning against him and touching him intentionally.

"It's my first time attending a parent-teacher meeting as Mayra's sister-in-law. Do you think I look nice in this outfit? I don't want to embarrass Mayra." She thought too highly of Mayra when she said that.

After all, she was the daughter of a jewelry company's CEO and Belchester's most prominent socialite. Even if she was dressed in tatters, she had no equal in terms of status. Moreover, she had an excellent fiancé.

She didn't know how long she struggled in her dream. Finally, she noticed a glimmer of light and heard someone shout her name. She felt the weight of the soil on top of her becoming lighter as time passed.

Someone had found her and dug her out of the ground. To her surprise, she saw Anderson's sad eyes.

Mayra saw Anderson, who was in his 50s, dressed in an expensive black suit. His hands were covered in blood. He hugged her skeleton tightly as if he was grieving the loss of an important treasure.

When she woke up, she clasped her hand over her chest and felt tears flowing down her cheeks. She felt her heart aching.

But it was only a dream. Why did she have such a strong reaction? She felt as if everything in her dream was real. She couldn't believe it. That was impossible. It couldn't be real. It was only a dream!

She smiled at him. "Gordon, do I look good?"

Why did he remain as cowardly as in his previous life? Did he like her that much? Gordon turned away awkwardly, but his ears were flushed.

At the same time, Anderson and Isabel were approaching the school gates. However, because of heavy traffic, their Maybach could only inch forward.

Shane then got a call from the school. He hung up after only a few words, saying, "Mr. Barlow, Ms. Sadler isn't at school today."
