In Devonport, Jenna and Adler were glued to their phones, trying to catch any news about Summerfield. Even a whisper would do, but the day dragged on with radio silence about the place.

“Adler! Seriously, are you even trying? How can you be so bad at gathering intel?” Jenna shot Adler a frustrated look. If Adler had even a smidge of Colby or Harold's skill, they wouldn't be stuck in this information blackout.

“I’m doing my best, but Summerfield is sealed tighter than a drum. Even when Odie was around, Colby’s crew could barely crack what was happening there, and now it’s just me,” Adler said, looking genuinely put out.

Jenna could only stew in her frustration. Then, out of the blue, Adler’s face lit up with an idea. “Wait a minute, why don’t we just ask Odie? He’s the kingpin of Summerfield. If anyone can dig up info, it’s him!”

“Sure, just like that. But, do you really think we can waltz into the Aldridge family’s turf?” Jenna replied skeptically. They had tried the Aldridge Estate before, but it was locked tighter than a vault, making entry nearly impossible.

“I’m stumped otherwise. Besides, Sophie’s not one to let things slide, and with Colby heading over, maybe they’ll patch things up. Jenna, you shouldn’t stress over someone else’s drama,” Adler offered earnestly.

Jenna froze, eyes wide. Adler rubbed his eyes in disbelief before exclaiming, “Has Colby lost it? What’s he doing?”

Then they spotted Sophie in the photo too. “No way, they’re going all out? This is no joke!” Adler had never seen Colby on his knees before. This was a new low.

“If this wasn’t from the most credible news source in the world, I’d call it trash. What are they even saying? And how could Colby kneel in front of everyone like that?” Adler muttered, reading the article accompanying the photo. It detailed that during a dinner at the Spellman family’s, Sophie, jealous, had publicly scolded Colby for getting too close with Ms. Gina.
