Chapter 305 

However, fate always enjoyed playing tricks on people, past when I thought I had drawn a line between us, Ethan quietly entered my world again, attacking me in ways I couldn’t understand 

That night, we drank a fair amount of fruit wine at the pub. Although it was sweet, it still had a lock to it. We were all adults and could take responsibility for our actions, so we downed a few more plasses to test our limits. 

When the dizziness became overwhelming, I knew I had to stop, but the danger of going back alone was too great, so the three of us decided to head back together. “You two stay here, I’ll just run to the restroom, and then we can settle the bill and leave together,” I said. 

The alcohol in this country was 

Feeling a bit bloated and lightheaded, I struggled to keep my balance, leaning against the wall as I made my way to the restroom. T sweet and delightful, but it packed quite a punch–like atempting trap.

I quickly adjusted my emotions, trying to appear calm. When I stepped out of the restroom, there he was–the man I once loved deeply but had to let go. 

He stood a short distance away, his gaze intense, as if searching for something. 

My heart raced, an indescribable emotion surging within me. I wanted to run, but my legs felt as heavy as lead 

Ethan seemed to sense my presence, slowly tuming to face me, our eyes locking in the air. “Long time no see,” he greeted me with a smile as if there had never been any distance between us. 

I managed a forced smile and replied, “Yeah, long time no see.” 

We stood there in the hallway, neither of us speaking- 

The reason I had acted so calmly was that I wanted to believe this was all just a dream 

“It seems I must have drunk too much, which is why you’ve reappeared in my dream,” I thought. 

If only dreams could remain so pure and beautiful, I wouldn’t mind being stuck in this one. I closed my eyes, surrendering to darkness. 

In my hazy state, I felt myself fall into a solid chest, enveloped in a warm embrace that held me tightly. Then I felt a unique strength. When I opened my eyes again, I found myself back in my room. 

“I didn’t expect this dream to be a series of d
