“I didn’t expect you two to know each other! Your junior is adorable,” William commented, completely oblivious to the awkward atmosphere between us. 

I could only force a smile as Natasha took a seat across from me. Just as Ethan was about to sit next to me, another young woman quickly took that seat, forcing him to sit next to Natasha instead. 

Seeing this, I began to suspect that maybe this was an attempt to send me a warning. 

“Since you exchange students don’t have your own independent space, it must be difficult to achieve much, so I hope we can collaborate. It will benefit us all,” Mr. Warty said, straightforward as ever.

“Thank you for your kindness, Natasha, but Gabrielle and I need to hurry back to prepare for the competition. You can stay and enjoy time with everyone,” I said, trying to keep my tone sincere yet firm. 

Natasha seemed a bit disappointed, but she quickly regained her smile and nodded. “Alright, be careful on your way back. If you need any help, just let me low,”
