After hanging up, I told Kevin about what had happened at once. Kevin didn’t seem as surprised as I’d expected him to be. 

He even seemed unusually calm, and he smiled impassively. “It seems that it’s just as I’d guessed. You’ll have to work hard from now on. It’ll be tough being together with a beast like that, but you must make him let down his guard.” 

I nodded, knowing how dangerous this would be. I knew that I would have to handle this very well. 

“You must remember to use the equipment I gave you. It’s not as easy as you might think, but the equipment I’ve given you will be able to capture all his crimes.” 

I nodded, knowing that what Kevin had given me would be sure to be useful, so I had to be careful not to make any mistakes. 

As we had planned things so meticulously, I was sure that everything about Duncan would be exposed. No one would be able to threaten young women with something like this in the future. 

A cold breeze blew at night, and I knew that it was getting closer to the appointed time. 

I took a deep breath and gradually forced myself to look calm. I then put on a gentle demeanor and stood at the mouth of an alley near the university.
