Seeing me suddenly tense up, Cassie smirked at me. "Oh, were you just pretending to be calm earlier? Now you're scared, huh?"

The streamers also grew smug. "Folks, looks like this homewrecker cares a lot about what's in this box. Must be something valuable!"

"Any guesses on what’s inside?"

They became overly excited, like they’d hit the jackpot, letting out mocking laughs toward the live audience.

The viewers eagerly chimed in, full of curiosity about what might be inside the box.

I cautiously spoke up, "It’s not about money, but it’s something very important to me. Please don’t touch it."

Cassie took the box, opened it, and found a delicate platinum and diamond bracelet resting inside.

"Pfft, I thought it was something valuable. It’s just a bracelet!"

With that, Cassie lifted the bracelet, ready to smash it.

"Don’t!" I shouted instinctively.

Cassie looked at me with a twisted grin. "Give me one good reason not to."

I spoke plainly, "I’m Timothy’s mother. That bracelet is something his father left behind. Please give it back to me."

Even when they destroyed priceless antiques, I didn’t flinch. But this bracelet was different—it was the tenth anniversary gift from my husband.

On the day he gave it to me, he tragically passed away in an accident.

When he died, he was still clutching this bracelet tightly in his hand.

This bracelet holds my husband’s endless love for me and my deepest memories of him.
