Gretel just glanced at Justin Pattinson and walked in.

She smiled and said, "Daddy, Mommy, we’re back!"

Hansel also smiled and said, "I made soup!"

Mark and Lyla saw the twin’s attitude towards Justin, but they did not comment because no matter what they said or did, Justin would never accept them.

Thus, it was good it turned out this way.

Mark asked, "What soup? Let me take a look."

Hansel replied, "Uh, I made what Mommy likes. Daddy, I don't really know what type of soup you like."

This time, Mark sucked up to Lyla and said, "I like whatever Mommy likes!"

The twins were speechless. This public display of affection was too much.

It looked like the two of them were progressing well though.

Hansel walked over and put the soup down, then the twins served each parent a bowl respectively. This scene looked so harmonious.

Justin saw it all from the side. Finally, he withdrew his gaze and walked out.

The four of them in the room acted as if they did not notice him and treated him like an invisible person.

"How is it, Mommy? Is it nice?"

"Yeah, I only like the soup that you make!"

However, Hansel turned to look at Mark and asked, "Daddy, Mommy, you’re now...sharing a room?"

As she considered this, Lyla thought that it would be good for the twins to spend more time with Mark.

Lyla was surprised by the kind of gut-wrenching heartache she felt for Mark and did not know when she started to care for him like this.

Seeing that Lyla was staring at Mark lovingly, Gretel smiled and said, “Mommy, why are you staring at Daddy?”

Lyla instantly withdrew her gaze at Gretel’s question. Her face blushed with embarrassment.

Mark turned back and smirked, then said, "Mommy likes to sneak a peek at me!"

Lyla did not know how to react.

Why was this man such a narcissist?

Lyla did not want to bicker with Mark and turned to look at Hansel, then asked, "Where’s Logan?"

Hansel did not expect his mother to ask him this.

His eyes wandered before finally landing on Mark, waiting for his signal.

Before Mark could say anything, he was intercepted by Lyla, who said, "I'm asking you!"

"He...Lingo’s watching him."

"Lingo?"

Hansel said, "She’s the pretty lady that you’ve seen before."

Lyla had a slight impression and thought that woman was not simple.

"How is he now?"

"Umm...I heard he just got beaten up by Lingo."

Lyla was speechless.

Seeing Lyla's face darkening, Hansel hurriedly shook his head to rid himself of this responsibility and said, "This has nothing to do with me! Lingo beat him up by herself."

Mark shrugged shoulders and said, "I’m not the one who caught him, so I can’t make this decision!"

Hansel quickly said, "It's Lingo!"

That woman was not ordinary.

Lyla looked at Hansel and asked, "Is she also from your gang?"

The only sound that Hansel and Gretel could hear was this whimper.

Two of them were excited and stood outside the door. Gretel looked at Hansel and said, "Brother, you disobeyed Mommy like this. Just watch out when she punishes you!"
