With that, everyone continued to work hard.

Everyone was excitedly deciding on the location to chill after work.

Lily said that since the boss was paying and none of them had to pay for their own food, they could eat whatever they wanted tonight.

Another male colleague said, “It’s hard to find a day where Mr. Pattinson is willing to treat all of us. So, there’s no need to save his money for him. We should look for the best location.”

True. When the boss wanted to treat them to a meal, they would, of course, choose the most luxurious place!

The Department of Design was in an uproar.

Lyla was the only one who kept quiet. She watched everyone else with a smile as if it was none of her business.

Lyla gave her brother, Lyle a call.

She then called her babies, Hansel and Gretel.

Lyla spoke softly. “Darling, mommy won’t be coming back for dinner tonight!”

Hansel questioned her like an adult, “Why, Mommy? Do you have to meet with clients?”

“Yes. My colleagues want to celebrate with me. I have to be present.” Lyla sighed helplessly. To be frank, she did not like to attend such gatherings. However, she could not say no to it.

“If that’s what everyone is hoping for, Mommy, enjoy your night. Just don’t get yourself drunk, because I won’t be taking care of you!” The kid acted like an adult and also advised his mother not to drink too much.

Lyla was speechless.

Just as Lyla was about to hang up, Gretel, who was beside him, added, “Mommy, will Mr. Pattinson be there too?”

“I think so. He’s the one who’s going to treat all of us,” Lyla answered honestly.

“Very good. I hope you enjoy your night, Mommy!” Gretel sounded pleased.

“No worries. I’ll be going home early.” Lyla promised her two darlings.

The two then hung up the phone and smiled, looking at each other.

“Brother, do you think that there will be sparks between both of them?” Gretel asked happily.

“I think so.” Hansel nodded like an adult. Things were progressing in the way that they had always wanted. The more social contact between both of them, the better it would be.

Lyla felt that the two children were expecting her to spend time with Mark Pattinson. Unbeknownst to her, the two young ones could not wait to “sell her”. If only she knew, she would have vomited blood.

This woman could change her expression in the blink of an eye!

Mark Pattinson groaned faintly before he turned around and walked away.

Lyla stood still at her place. What was wrong with this master? He was very hard to please!

Fortunately, Lyla was already accustomed to Mark Pattinson’s temper. Come rain or shine, she was used to it. Therefore, she shook her head helplessly and walked out.

Since Mark Pattinson was joining the crowd, Kathleen would surely tag along. She glued herself to Mark Pattinson most of the time, fearing that she might lose him to someone else, especially Lyla Lowe.

Kathleen boarded Mark Pattinson’s car in a haughty manner.

Lily was in Ethan Miller’s car. She rolled down the window and waved at Lyla. “Come on, Lyla. Jump into the car.” Lily was quite close with Ethan in the company, therefore, she asked Lyla to join them.

Lyla walked briskly in their direction and boarded his car.

The rest also boarded their vehicles and off they went.

They planned to have their meals first, then only sing karaoke.
