Brows furrowed, Mona sald, “Mr. Barton, you don’t believe that, do you? I also have a medical background. The judgment of foreign objects in blood vessels requires the assistance of a CT scanner. Could she really see it with the naked eye?” 

Huck knitted his brows. That was right. If something had actually been wrong with the chest x- ray back then, the doctors would have called and informed them immediately. There had been no way they would have waited until now. 

“Dr. Vega.” Buck clenched his fists tightly. 

If Eddie wasn’t there and if it wasn’t for Mick’s sake, he wouldn’t have bothered to even acknowledge Nydia’s presence. 

“If you apologize to my grandfather, we’ll drop the matter for now.” 

if Homer had held a grudge, not even Mick would have been able to save her. 

Nydia had no clue that danger was around the corner. She kept trying to convince them, saying, “Mr. Barton, it’s really important that we get Mr. Barton Senior to have ant examination right away. There really can’t be any more delay.” 

Of course, Homer was a respected figure in the medical community and had a deep understanding of his own body. 

“Missy, I understand your drive to succeed, but you can’t always cut corners,” he said sternly. 

His words felt like a condemnation of Nydia’s moral code as a doctor. 

“Mr. Barton Senior, health is the foundation of everything. You can’t continue to be so reckless. Otherwise, it will be a loss for our medical community. 

Mona’s expression showed her clear displeasure. “Dr. Vega, your scare tactics are not appreciated! I understand your desire for instant fame, but joking about Mr. Barton Senior’s health is unacceptable.” 

The words stirred up a wave of anger among the crowd, and murmurs and whispers filled the room. If Eddie hadn’t been present, they would have likely acted on their frustration and forcibly removed her from the venue by now. 

In addition, the live stream room was filled with constant cursing, and Nelson was not spared from the accusations. The once highly praised “sweet young couple” was now being mocked and ridiculed by everyone online. 

Some fans even went to the official website to leave messages, demanding that their medical practitioner licenses be revoked.

Despite the uncertainty of persuading Homer, Nydia was determined to make one final effort in the situation.

Buck had just glanced at him, signaling that he had gone through it solely for his benefit. Nydia, on the other hand, had caused him major humiliation today. 

“Do you know who Mr. Barton Senior is? He surely knows better than this. What you’re doing is not about achieving fame. It’s just a cheap attempt at popularity.” 

Ted was also filled with disappointment at Nydia. 

“How embarrassing.” He pursed his lips and stopped looking at Nydia. 

Mick continued, “I don’t care what your purpose is for saying these things today. Get out of here immediately and stop embarrassing yourself!” 

Mona added, “Dr. Vega, what you’re doing will implicate the hospital you work for. You can’t let the hospital pay the price for your actions just to become famous!” 

The audience joined in with their jeers as she continued to sway public opinion.
