Early in the morning after a bath, I sat in front of my dressing mirror with Miriam combing my hair, while my other ladies were taking care of my room and choosing a worthy dress for me.

"Pardon me my queen, but you look happy this morning," Miriam said with a smile while she continued to comb my hair.

I was more than happy, as much as I hated the stupid bastard's behavior, I wasn't going to let him ruin my mood.

"Well, what do you expect?, Today is a beautiful morning and we are in a new palace, you know how we have been raised alone in a locked up room, but today I'm a married woman and I'm free, I can go anywhere I want to," I said then stood up and looked at myself in the mirror.

I wore a simple beautiful peach dress which showed off my curves, and my hair was nicely let down, in the afternoon I was suppose to change and put on another dress that the Ladies were choosing for me, I wanted to take a tour of the palace at noon.

"My queen your crown" Lauren said softly while she walked to me.

"No it's a bit heavy, just hand me my veil" I answered.

Mirriam quickly brought a black veil and handed it to me.

"Thank you" I answered then walked to the door, Amore and Janet were behind me covered too.

"The rest do wait for me to come back, I'm going to the king's chamber"

I opened the door and walked out with my two ladies feeling happy, as I walked I looked around admiring the beautiful expensive walls which were painted in the finest art.

"This kingdom seems prosperous" I whispered then slowly went upstairs.

The servants were busy moving up and down cleaning the floors and walls.

"Amore where is the king's chamber?" I asked.

"The left-wing my queen" she answered.

I turned to my left and looked at the huge guarded door with a sigh, it was the only room there, I walked towards it approaching the two guards calmly.

"Who dares come to this forbidden wing?" The first guard asked loudly.

"I want to go in, step aside" I answered simply.

"You can't go in or anywhere near the door lady" the second guard answered loudly.

Amore quickly moved and went to the first guard and whispered something, when he looked at me he looked terrified.

He quickly hit his friend with an elbow.

"She's our new queen" he whispered while the groaning friend quickly composed himself and went on his knee.

"Forgive your servant your highness, please show mercy to us," the first guard said as the second guard joined in on his knee too.

"We are really sorry my queen, you can go in," the second guard said.

"This should be the last time you waste my time," I said looking at the first guard.
