I was knocked to the ground, and the tremendous force sent my body rolling uncontrollably down the slope, eventually crashing heavily at the finish line. The pain made me cry out, and my mouth was filled with snow.

The others rushed over to check on me. Leon was at the front. He picked me up horizontally and carried me to a nearby cabin.

"Are you okay?" His clear eyes showed a hint of concern.

I rubbed my sore back and shook my head.

"I'm fine, just a little sore in my back. It should be fine after a while."

To my surprise, he furrowed his brows and said:

"No, I'm taking you to the hospital for a check-up. Some internal injuries can't be felt immediately."

Without waiting for my response, he took me to the hospital. After the X-ray showed no major injuries, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.

I looked at his tense expression and sincerely thanked him:

"Thank you so much, Mr. Paxton."

"Taking care of you is part of my job," Leon said, his face unchanged. He nodded and added, "It's almost six. Let me take you back to your place to rest."

Under Leon's guidance, I returned to my accommodation. After a simple meal, I lay down on the bed and fell asleep.

That incident seemed to serve as a precaution for Leon, and in the following days, he became even more cautious, constantly monitoring our every move, afraid something else might happen.

By the end of the tour, there hadn't been any further incidents.

When it was time to say goodbye to everyone, Leon suddenly called out to me.

"If you want to join a tour again, just contact me directly. I can offer you a discount."

I didn't expect Leon, who seemed so distant and aloof, to actively add people on WhatsApp for the sake of business.
