His voice was steady, not too loud nor too soft, and he spoke openly without any hint of concealment.

It sounded almost like a public declaration of affection.

Lizetta, less thick-skinned than Remington, suddenly turned away, her face heating up with a mix of embarrassment and surprise.

Seeing Lizetta's reaction, Yolanda, worried that this Casanova might easily sway Lizetta again, immediately spoke up.

"Mr. Dashiell talks a good game, but why does Ms. Shirley Dashiell keep calling herself the 'abandoned wife'?"

Yolanda stiffened, lifting her gaze to meet Cassius's smirking face. Remembering the mess Margaret had caused, she angrily stomped on Cassius's foot.

"Ouch! Yolanda, you're clueless!"

Cassius hadn't expected her to retaliate so fiercely after he intervened.

Margaret quickly came over, supporting Cassius, "Cassius, are you okay?"

Then she turned her anger towards Yolanda, "Are you blind? Where do you think you're stepping?"

Yolanda, seeing them close together, retorted with a laugh.

"Maybe you should ask your man first. Is he blind? Where does he think he's putting his hands? Does he think he can just touch my waist whenever he wants?"
