We were already in the car, and maybe because of tiring week for Leysa, she fell asleep. We already together for an hour now
–and yes at that one hour travelling, she just took a nap.
I heard a phone ringing so I checked my cellphone, and there –Diana is calling,
["Hey babe, where are you? I thought you were going to take a plane?"] She opened up to me immediately.
"Nope. I'll just drive going there, babe. The flights are a bit late now because of the bad weather."
["Are you sure? The trip also took almost 10 hrs, and earlier, it was raining a bit in Pampanga. And we just got here in the resort."]
"Yup it's just fine... and by the way, your sister is with me," I informed.
["Ow. It's good that you caught up with her, because she was planning to commute via bus. Where is she? Can I talk to her? That girl is crazy, I already told her to go together with us. But she was also a workaholic chic like you, babe."]
"She is sleeping soundly, I think she was tired during her whole week of work –she just seems to be able to rest today," I answered and stared at Leysa's angelic face.
["Ah. Oh alright. Just be careful. And call me, every now and then for updates on where you are because it looks like it will rain heavily later, stop over if needed. I love you."]
LEYSA'S POV
"Okay. I love you."
I awaken when I heard someone whisper.
And when I opened my eyes, Fred's face immediately appeared in front of me. He is intently looking at me, and I saw him holding something through his ears,
"Oh! A Bluetooth earphones!" I looked at his phone on the dashboard. "Assuming Leysa! He was talking to your sister; she was the one Fred said I love you to, not you."
"Oh that's right, you're already awake. Let's stop over first, I haven't eaten yet," he said.
"What do you want to eat?" I asked him out of nowhere that made him looked at me.
"Are you really asking that to me?" he smirked, shit! What a jerk.
"Nahh, nevermind. I don't think that you would want it. Oh well, there! There is a restaurant," I blurted out.
He stopped his car at a restaurant. I went out already to his car and I did not wait for him to open the door for me. Oh well, as if he would do that, hays! Focus Leysa, remember that your whole week is completely out of your plans ... what now? You can't be distracted.
I found out that we were in Pampanga.
"I told you brother; we should have ridden a plane. Maybe we had been there now," I complained while we were eating.
Sometimes I get a glimpse of my older brother, it's a good thing he focuses on the road so he doesn't notice me watching him, and he's really handsome.
We were still on the route to Baguio when the rain was slowly pouring down.
Gradually it just a soft dropped until it got heavy, so I looked around. Gosh! It's scary, because there are quite a few houses in our path and the sky is getting darker, because it's already night and the weather is seriously getting bad.
I looked at Fred.
FREDERIK'S POV
"Fred, can we just stay in a hotel for a while."
I turned in Leysa's direction. She is serious, because she was right; we need to stop for a while. The weather is really bad, and it was already dark in the road, it was dangerous for us to be in the car and still driving, and I did not want us to have an accident or anything.
So without answering her, I take a turn ... we are also in Baguio so I know many hotels here.
But--
"How's that brother? The hotels here are fully booked, where are we going to spend this bad weather."
