Alice’s dissatisfaction with Chloe and the Welch family was growing.

Alice walked into the Welch family with her expensive bag and sparkling jewelry. The villa was brightly lit, with servants rushing around, busy with preparations.

Alice glared at the servant.“Take them down right now, or you can all leave. This is my villa, and I make the rules.”

Alice stared at Finn and said, “If you don’t like it, you can pack up and leave. Now!” 

Finn’s face turned pale with anger.“Noah, you saw what Alice just did. She tricked Ethan into giving her the villa, and now she’s kicking us out.” 

Noah walked over, looking at Alice with a mix of pity and disbelief.“Alice.” 

“What are you doing here?” Alice asked. 

Alice was surprised to see Noah. 

Noah said, “Luke asked me to take care of Caleb, so I came back.” 

In truth, Luke had been worried about Ethan being manipulated by Chloe, so he’d rushed Noah back to keep an eye on things.

She coldly said, “You’re just in time. This villa is now under my name. This is my house, and I won’t allow anyone to change the décor without my permission.”

“Just look at the deed. It’s under my name. If you want to escalate this, I’ll call the police, and you’ll 

get kicked out.”

Noah furrowed his brows.“Okay, enough arguing. Since the villa is legally Alice’s, she has every right to dictate the décor.” 

Finn said, “Noah, why are you taking Alice’s side? When Chloe first told me, I didn’t believe it, but now I have to.” 

Noah said, “Finn, if I agreed to change the décor, wouldn’t that be showing favoritism to you?” Finn said, confidently, “Chloe and I are getting married. It’s only natural for you to side with us, right?” 

“I think you’re the one who’s not thinking straight. I’m not taking sides. The house belongs to whoever owns it. That’s the rule.” 

Noah felt disappointed looking at Finn. He hadn’t changed one bit–still selfish and self–centered.
