Maria had been asking around for the past two days, but she had received no news. This was very discouraging.

"What's the use of going to all these spa sessions and hanging out with your friends all day if you can't get such a trivial matter done?!" He cursed angrily.

"Trivial matter? If you think it's a trivial matter, then you do it! Do you know that people still come up to me and ask about when your brother-in-law is going to find a new woman and what his type is?

“They even tried to pitch themselves to me!" Maria snapped angrily after gulping down a big mouthful of water. "You know how Cameron works. He doesn't leave a trail behind him. Where did you hear about this? Does he really have a new woman?"

"Nonsense! How can it be fake? You women are all useless. All you do is gossip and make up stories. When it comes to the truth, none of you know anything."

"Since we're so useless, you can go ask around yourself! You can go back to whoever told you the news! How can that person tell you that Cameron has a mistress but not know who she is?!"

Fabian was at a loss for words after her retaliation. For a while, he couldn't find the words to say. Because of a slip up, Fabian learned of this. How could he approach that person and ask?

Everyone knew that he was Cameron's brother-in-law. If Cameron found a new woman, Fabian would just be his ex-brother-in-law. His status would drop, and no one would prioritize him as much anymore.

"Are you going to Cameron's house?" Rhea repeated. "If you are, I'm going with you."

"What are you going to do there? Are you looking for that stupid pen holder of yours? Enough. Don't you think you've caused us enough trouble?!" Fabian snapped impatiently.

Rhea took a deep breath and said, "I'm going to apologize to Anastasia."

"Huh?!" Now, Maria was even more shocked. She felt like someone else had taken over her daughter's body.
