"Who said I wouldn't dare?" Sebastian emerged from the kitchen, murmuring towards an angry Putnam in the living room.

"You bastard! Tell me. What did I ever do to you for you to screw me over like this?" Putnam glared at him.

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, "You told Stephanie I got betrayed? More than once?"

Putnam widened his eyes, "That was just a joke!"

"A joke that kept Stephanie up all night, arguing with me the next morning. Mrs. Bishop even slapped her. She cried and told me it was you who told her. Is this your idea of a joke?"

Holy crap! He got her slapped?

So that's why Sebastian was upset, so that's why he was so ruthless with him.
