Substitute for The Alpha King novel Chapter 11

"I think that we should talk inside the house" Hannah had to say and he nodded his head. She led the way into the house and he just trailed behind her.

"So you were saying something"

"Come with me, let's leave this town together"

She raked her hand through her hair. She planned to leave this town to go look for a job somewhere else so she can earn some money to use save her mother, but one thing that she never thought about doing was leaving with Shawn. They thought never crossed her mind.

"Are you sure about that?" She asked. He could see the hesitation in her eyes. She was not certain what to say and how to act with such request right before her.

"What do you have to say about it?"

She looked at him, Hannah was worried that he will get to dislike her once she realises that she was just a replacement bride and nothing more. She bite her lips unsure what to do, he was hoping for a quick response so that they can start making plans before those thugs were to come back. After that beating that Shawn had given to them, they will have to wait till their men and leader had fully recuperated.

However, that won't be a lifetime, they will come back just as the neighbours had informed them, she just wasn't sure what will happen if they are to come back again, this time they will come prepared. This was a small town so she knows how everything works.

"Say something Hannah"

She opened her mouth but couldn't get the word's out of her mouth, the words were trapped somewhere in her air wave. She just wanted to speak up but couldn't and doesn't even know what to say to him, he looked at her with so much hope that she will get to say yes.

"I get it, your silence proves that you don't want to go with me" Realising that she was being hesitant, Shawn assumed that he didn't want to go and felt disappointed. However, this was her decision to make, he was not going to force her to do anything that she doesn't want to do.

"Will you forgive me?"

"Huh?"

"Will you forgive me if you found out that I lied to you someday?" She asked, worried that he might be be disappointed and begin to hate her when he realises that all of this is a lie.

However, Shawn was aware of what she was worried about but he choose to keep quiet about it, he wouldn't want to scare her or make her feel or feel different about herself. He wanted to wait for the day in which she will be able to open up to him about everything.

"Of course, I will forgive you, Hannah, it doesn't really matter what it is that you did to me, I will forgive you for it, I have already so you don't feel and tell me if you want to come with me"

She smiled at him, she knew she couldn't Keep quiet any longer. His words had reassured her that she needed to go, and even though she might be a replacement bride, this might be what she really needs in order not to get into more problems.

"I will go and pack my bag"

As they packed up their bags in Aileen, Hannah knew that a whole new life awaited them as they moved to the city of life, love and a place where dreams come true.

"Do you know where we are going to?" He asked her and she shook her head. She had no clue which city he was taking her to, all she knew was that they were in this together and she had to be trust him.

"No"

"Garden city"

That was the big city, everyone has talked about the Garden city, she has equally heard beautiful stories about the place but has never been there, now she will get a chance to not only live there but to work there as well which was her initial plan before this whole marriage to Shawn happened.

When the hoped into the car, Shawn to the drive them to the bus station and of they went to the Garden city. After the arrived in the city of roses and thorns, Hannah got a job.

"Shawn, I'm off to look for a job" She yelled and Shawn waved at her as he sat on the stool watching the television. It was the regular routine everyday Since Shawn wasn't really doing anything and so she had to take care of him everyday. She had to make his break fast and lunch before leaving the house and when she comes back home, she would have to make dinner for him. Hannah has been the only ones supporting the house and providing everything that they needed to continue living.
