"Nothing, I don't even realize that I am staring at you, sorry about that"

Hannah had no clue why he was apologizing, she wasn't looking for an apology but kept quiet about it Since he had already started apologizing. For the rest of the night, they are their food in silence with Hannah glancing at him every now and then.

However, that wasn't the only time that Shawn returned home, it became a habit and he would return to the house very late, it was almost past midnight when the look was at its peak, and he would sneak back to the house. Due will be waiting for him in the living room while sitting on the couch and other times she will fall asleep because she is exhausted and has waited for too long.

"Are you alright?"

"Why won't I be alright? Of course I am Hannah"

She pointed at the clock, it was past midnight. "You came home late again"

"I lost track of time"

That was the excuse that he was coming from with since she hadn't really asked him about his sudden departure from the house every day. She had no clue where he was going and couldn't exactly tag alongside him since she was always at work.

Her bosses weren't so friendly to let her off the hook and she knows that they might not even grant her a sick leave from the company since she was so damn good.

"Again?" She arched up her brow at him., Now this was starting to look more like a rehearsed line in her eyesight and it was starting to get annoying.

However, Hannah didn't want to push further with it, today was not a good day, she was preoccupied at the company and had team meetings and other things to take care of, she knew that if she sat to ask him further questions she will get exhausted do easily, and so she decided to give it a rest for tonight hoping that he won't lose track of time again, the streets were dangerous, she heard from the radio that the crime rate has increased by one percent in the past week and she would not want him to fall asleep victims and get hurt.

"Alright, just keep checking your phone so that you don't lose track of time again" She turned around and walked into her room closing the door.

Nevertheless, despite all of Hannah's warnings that night, Shawn continued and returned home late. She just didn't say a word but had a feeling that something was wrong with him on the day that he had left the house in the middle of the night when she heard the sound of the door closing, she got up from bed. It hadn't been long before he fell asleep she was pretty much awake since she was having a hard time falling asleep that night.

Glancing around the living room and in the kitchen, Hannah looked around for any message or anything that he had left off for her when she woke up she wouldn't start looking for him like a fool, but there was nothing like that. He didn't leave a note or anything that would give her a clue where he had gone off to. She was worried about him, this could no longer go on, and she could no longer bear watching him sneak off at night to places she had no clue about. Sitting on the couch, she waited for him to get back to the school even though she had work the next day, she knew she had to take care of this matter.

Fear engulfed her as she worried about him, she wondered if he had returned to his old ways and had even become worse in that he goes out in the night as well probably doing something bad.

However, her thoughts were certainly again interrupted when she looked up and saw him walking back into the house, he almost jumped at the sight if her sitting on that couch, wrapped in a duvet.
