When the sun filtered through the window, it was another day and Shawn sat on his bed, he could not sleep all through the night as he wondered what was wrong with Hannah, he was not happy that she did not believe that they were not mate, everything happens for a reason and they had both met without realizing that they are something to each other. Not in a million times did he ever think that he would ever meet her with his mate being his substitute bride, and now that has happened he was glad that she was the one, for Hannah was everything that anyone could ever desire. Still, yet, she was giving him a hard time and he was this close to giving up in trying to convince her that it was him and no one else.

He had no clue what to do as he sat there staring at the window hoping the sun would shine through and cast on his face but it didn't, he was lost in thoughts for a moment when a knock quickly came on the door. Without a doubt, he already knew that it was Hannah standing behind closed doors and did not respond, he was not ready to face her, they would end up having an argument once again so it was best for her to leave for work so that at night he would have thought of what to say it to her, the whole point was in convincing her that he was her mate and no one else. she will get to know once it is time why she could not show anything not even the attraction at first glance but he felt it Since he was an Alpha it was easy for him and not her.

“Shawn, I know that you are in there, why don't you at least open up so that we can talk about last night”

“ go to work Hannah, there is nothing for us to talk about” he was not angry with her yet she wanted to push her away. last night was a mess and he did not want that happening again, not in the morning when she was all dressed up and ready to leave for work. they will start arguing and everything will go back to how it was last night, she will get mad at her and climb the rooftop and the neighbors will see him, to be crazy and he did not like that at all.

“Is that really what you want?”

“ yes that is what I want”

“ I made breakfast, come on let's eat, it is your favorite, pancakes”

I am not hungry”

“ Shawn, you're being so hard right now and it's difficult to try and get through to you”

“ If I work out through this door I am never coming back, do you really want me to leave?”

Shawn looks at her, he studies the lines on her face, every crease on her face wondering why she was suddenly different,Just yesterday she was the one who was being so difficult and refused to speak to him and now she wants to talk, and not leave for work. that was something else.

“ did you say you want something?” he looked at her and she scoffed.
