Mars @Andre: “If Conner and Annie have a daughter, you jealous?”

Asher @Andre: “You want your own little princess, huh? Feeling that envy?”

When Conner arrived at Havenbrook, he dashed upstairs and didn’t even glance at his godson. He went straight for Annie, pulled her into his arms, cupped her face, and kissed her—one kiss wasn’t enough, so he gave her several.

Henry’s mom quickly covered his eyes. “Not every scene is for little kids, you know.”

Conner was there to pick Annie up, but she still had unfinished work with her team and needed to head back that afternoon. Naturally, Conner wanted to go with her.

Henry wanted to tag along too, but his mom tugged him back. “Haven’t we gone there enough?” If the two of them showed up together, it would just scare everyone.
