Molly saw Mia across the street, having a conversation with a man, and she appeared very impatient.

"Yo, Mia, what's up?" Molly strolled over.

Mia grimaced, "This dude wants my digits, says it's for a free cup of coffee."

Molly glanced at the man in question.

"Do you know who Andre is?" she asked.

The man nodded.

"That's his wife," Molly pointed at Mia.

After saying that, Molly took Mia and left, leaving behind the man who was so shocked that he even forgot to retrieve his cell phone.

Once they were well away, Molly jested, "Only you could pick up a flirt while doing a survey, Mia. Girl, you got hitched too early."

Mia retorted, "I didn't see it coming, I thought he was promoting a new coffee shop or something. If I knew he was into me, I'd have dropped Andre's name pronto."

The guy probably had never asked anyone's phone number on the street before.

He had followed Mia for two blocks, only to be spotted and confronted by Mia.

So she mistook him for a salesman.

Molly roared with laughter when she figured out Mia's thoughts.

Later in the evening, Molly was more than happy to fill Andre in on Mia's little encounter.

Andre looked at his sister and said, "Molly, I'll rely on you for looking after things around Mia from now on."

"No worries, Andre, I got your back. If someone tries to poach your wife, I'll be the first to tell you."

Andre had always shielded her from scoldings when they were little, so Molly had always respected him.

She might be tight with Mia, but pleasing Andre was her top priority.

Andre was always generous with his sister. He took seriously any information she provided and would even reward Molly with some pocket money, the amount varied.

Andre thought to himself that his sister was so much more reliable than his nephew.

Back in his bedroom, Andre found his wife seated cross-legged on the floor, one hand propping up her face as she stared at her laptop, with five completed surveys next to her.

"Ugh, how am I going to summarize this?"

The professor required her to present her own viewpoints in a short paper, and include data after completing the survey.

Mia was at her wits' end.

Andre sat down next to his wife.

Every time she saw Andre, Mia felt a sense of relief. He was her knight in shining armor, her lifesaver.

"Darling." she began to feel a little uneasy.

Andre was not pleased, "Did you get hit on again?"

Mia was speechless. How did he find out so fast?

"It must have been Molly tattling." she was certain.

Only Molly knew about it.

Andre looked down at his wife sitting on the floor.

"I didn't give him my number, and I didn't know he was hitting on me," Mia defended herself.

Andre scooped up his wife from the floor and cradled her small body in his arms.

He wondered how to make Mia less attractive?

Mia, held in her husband's arms, was unaware of his intentions.

She behaved obediently when he kissed her.

She didn't utter a word of protest when they hit the sheets.

Even though Mia was cooing at his side, Andre was entirely focused on Mia's survey in his hands, he was unmoved.

Mia tried to persuade for a long time, her mouth had gone dry, only to realize that her husband truly had no intention of helping her.

"You only care about having your fun with me, once you're dressed, you stop taking responsibility."

Mr. Cedillo finally reacted, and he turned to look at Mia, who was complaining about him.

"For assignments that don't involve technical knowledge, I can write them for you, and the teacher probably won't notice. But this is your final paper, it needs to reflect your own thoughts. If I write it for you, it'll reflect my thoughts, not yours. And what if it's so good, and the teacher asks you to give a presentation and share your creative process? What would you do then? Would you come back and try to sweet-talk me into giving the presentation for you?"

Mia was left speechless.

Indeed, if her husband wrote the paper too professionally, there was a chance that the school might consider publishing it. And if the professor asked her to present it in class, the truth could be revealed.

"Honey, I've thought it over. You tutor me, and I'll handle the nitty-gritty. Will you help me then?"

Mr. Cedillo: "I've always been ready to lend a hand."

Mia's parked in front of her white laptop, cuddled up in her husband's arm, researching and summarizing.

For parts she didn't think of, Andre would chime in with guidance.

Staying up until ten o'clock, Mia's paper outline had begun to take shape.

Andre asked her to hit the hay, but she was knee-deep in writing, hell-bent on getting it done tonight.

Andre stuck with her.

Once she had wrapped it up, Andre took over her laptop, and did a bit of polishing. Any sentences that didn't jive, he was there to tweak for her.

Finally, the formatting was also adjusted.

By the time it was all done, it was nearly midnight.

Mia's mission was finally accomplished.

She happily shut her laptop, looking forward to getting suggestions from the professor during the class the next day.
