Of the Shein Althea stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is Tears Of A Wife. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to Chapter 15. Let's read the author's Tears Of A Wife Shein Althea story right here.
I took my phone out from my bag and dialed a number. At this kind of time, I just want to talk to the only person that I know won't hurt me. My confidante. My father.
I smiled when it rang. Dad's phone is often on silent when it's office hours. He is very serious about his job. So I rarely talk to him on work days.
"Hello, hija?" he greeted.
I smiled sweetly as if he could see me. Dad's voice alone could make me feel less burdened. It was like a magic that lulled me around whenever I felt gloomy and hurt. It was so soft and warm that it seemed to caress my heart.
"I miss you, Daddy," I said and leaned against the swivel chair.
"You already missed me when we were together just days ago. Is there any problem?" I can feel the worry from his voice. I guess he also felt what I felt.
"Nothing, Dad. I just want to check on you. How's your weekend?" I changed the topic.
He chuckled. "Still the same. Lots of debate. I prefer to just sleep while they do their session,"
"Daddy, that's bad!" I laughed.
"I'm just joking, baby. Trying to lighten the mood. I can't see you but I can feel the sadness within your voice. Is it Atlas?"
"No, Daddy. I'm just stressed. I also miss Mom," I lied.
"Me,too," he responded.
"Oli--"
I signaled Kraius who just entered my office. I widened my eyes at him when I saw his playful smirk. I turned around to bid goodbye to my Dad properly.
"Bye for now, Daddy. I have something to do," I informed.
"Take care, baby. You're my only treasure left. If you have problems, tell me. Daddy will always be here for you."
"I know. I love you, Dad," I said before ending the call. I felt better after talking to him. He's right. He will always be with me. Maybe someday, when I have enough courage, I will tell him everything. Not now, but soon.
"Ahemm!"
I stopped my thoughts when I heard Kraius' exaggerated cough. I instantly shifted my position and saw him smirking. He was in his coat and tie, obviously from a trial.
"I don't have flowers with me. You know... busy."
"You don't need to, Kraius." I stood up. I fixed the papers on my table and placed them inside the drawer. I also fixed my shoulder bag and walked towards him.
"But, I ordered succulents online. I know that you like those things. I also bought indoor plants. An advanced christmas gift."
I glared at him. I stopped walking when I was in front of him. "You're so gay, Kraius. You don't need to do that!" I said firmly.
