Atlas' physical appearance changed a bit. His hair got longer, he also had a stubble on his chin that added to his manliness. He was wearing his usual polo and jeans. It seems that he's not yet going to work.
"A restraining order for me? Seriously, Olive?!" His voice was firm after closing the door. He walked towards my table.
My forehead immediately creased with what he said. I don't know what he's talking about! Maybe, Dad is behind the restraining order. I don't know.
I sighed and looked at him with the same intensity, too.
"What are you saying?" I said, confused.
"Don't bullshit me, Olive! I know that you know what I'm saying!" he shouted. He abruptly placed his hands onto the table. He was towering over me so I needed to look up just to see him.
I balled my fist. I tried to calm down. Stress isn't good for me. "If I have a restraining order against you, you deserve it. Just looking at your face now-you look like you're gonna hurt me!"
"Fuck!" he cursed and punched the table. I squeezed my eyes shut, after a while, I opened it again.
I saw him pacing back and forth in front of me. He looked agitated. Like he wants to say something to me. Hindi ko alam. I'm a psychiatrist but I can't determine what Atlas is thinking right now. He is the biggest puzzle I have ever encountered. Someone who could give me so much confusion in my being.
"If you have nothing left to say, you may leave," I muttered. I forced my voice to sound brave although I'm scared of Atlas' actions. I am not afraid for myself but for the baby inside me. My baby's more important than anything else. More important than Atlas.
With that thought, I suddenly held my stomach. Atlas only gave me more reason to continue the annulment. I know that once he finds out about the baby, he will be enraged. I don't want it to happen, and so being away from him is the best option that I will make.
"If you have nothing to say, you may leave!" I repeated.
He faced me with bloodshot eyes. "You want an annulment? Fine! I will give you what you want, Olive!" He pointed at me. "You want me. But you gave up first. You're so complicated!"
