Of the Internet stories I have ever read, perhaps the most impressive one is The Alpha's Silent Rejection. The story is too good, leaving me with many doubts. Currently, the manga has been translated to 7: Maddie. Let's read the author's The Alpha's Silent Rejection Internet story right here.
chapter 7
Lilith Point of View
With my new resolve, I turned around and headed out of the gym to meet Miss Wesley, the council secretary. However, as much as I wanted to go and see this Miss Wesley, I had no idea where to find her, and I didn’t want to walk to the other side of the building to the administration office to ask about her whereabouts either.
I could obviously turn around and go back inside to ask this question to Carson, but I wouldn’t dare because I wanted to keep my distance from him. I shook my head to get his name out of my mind and sighed as I stood in the middle of a hallway with no idea about where to go.
Since I had no other choice, I took out the college map from my bag’s side pocket and gave it a thorough look. As my classes were about to start in some ten minutes, I decided to head to my class and meet Wesley later in the break. With my mindset, I searched for my schedule in my bag and took it out to check which subject I have in my first class. I then took a look at the map and searched for the physics class and followed the map.
I was walking with my head bent low as I moved according to the map, when suddenly I collided with someone and heard a girly shriek. My eyes widened, and I looked down to see a girl picking up her glasses from the floor. She had long jet-black hair that were tied in a sleek ponytail and was wearing dark-washed denim paired with an oversized greyish white hoodie.
“I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to bump in you. Are you alright?” I asked her with concern while she stayed quiet and picked up her glasses and stood straight.
I noticed she had soft honey-brown eyes with a small button nose and pink lips that were more on the thinner side. She stood 5’3 tall at her full height with an olive skin tone and innocence surrounded her like a bubble.
“It’s ok, I wasn’t paying attention either.” She replied in a small voice.
“No harm done. By the way, I’m Lilith, I joined today.” I introduced myself while extending my hand for a shake.
“Hi, I’m Maddie, short for Madelyn.” She spoke in her small voice.
Maddie had something about her that made me feel calmer about this whole college. She appeared innocent and was really soft spoken. I really wished we could be friends because I would love to have her as my friend.
“What major are you pursuing, Maddie?” I queried while hoping she has the same major as mine.
“Biomedical Engineering with physics as my second major.” She uttered shyly.
I almost squealed in delight when her major matched mine and muttered. “That’s great. I am also pursuing the same. Umm, would you like to be my friend?”
Maddie’s head snapped up when I asked her about us being friends, and I thought she doesn’t want to be my friend. “Of course, I would love to be your friend. I don’t have any friends, anyway.” She trailed off with sadness coating her words.
“It’s ok, you have me, now. Let’s go to class or else we will be late for our first class.” I reminded her, and she nodded before walking ahead of me.
Surprisingly, Maddie knew all the turns and hallways of the college, which made me question her college year. “You are starting from today, right?” I asked while climbing the stairs with her.
“Yea, but my sister was also in this college and I used to visit her often. So, I know all the classes.” She spoke while slightly turning to me and I nodded.
