The Alpha's Special Mate novel Chapter 30

Skylar's POV

After I left my pack house willingly and mind linking my mate saying that I loved him and for him to look after our baby girl I felt something prick my neck before I fell into blackness. I finally awoke in a plane that was already mid flight, as I started to look around one of the guys that was with me saw that I was awake and gave me a slight smirk before plunging a needle into my neck again and then the darkness consumed me once more. Roaming around in the darkness I couldn't help but wonder how long I have been out for and where I was being taken before my thoughts wondered how Jace and my baby girl were doing. I hoped he would come for me one day but a small part of me wanted him to stay away and take care of our daughter and forget about me even though I knew he would never leave me here I knew he would come for me one day I just hope that when he does that we both make it back alive to our little girl.

I was slowly waking up as my senses were coming back to me and I knew I was laying in a bed but there was also something around my neck that was burning me. I felt a ringing in my ears an as I slowly opened my eyes I looked around and noticed I was in a nice little room with light blue walls and a nice blue bed spread underneath me across the bed. I slowly reached up to what was around my neck and when my fingers touched it it burned me and that's when I noticed that it was a silver collar. Still weakened from being asleep for felt like days with nothing to eat or drink since I was knocked out the entire time as I started to panic I could hear footsteps coming closer to the room I was in.

I could hear whoever it was unlock my door and come into it. I was scared at who it could be and when they walked in I was surprised to see a woman come in she looked to be about her early twenties. She had short black hair with soft facial features, she had wide chocolate brown eyes that looked at my with sorrow and pity. She was wearing a black dress with a white collar and white cuffs and each wrist with an apron over it.

"Hello Miss, my name is Candy. Mr. Adams has assigned me to you as your personal maid during your stay here." Candy spoke to me like it was just another day and I was just another guest and not some prisoner.

"I was told to come and get you bathed and changed for dinner" She said gently as she came towards me to unlock the collar and help me into the bath room. Once in the bathroom she sat me in a chair in front of the mirror as she started to draw me a bath in the very nice bathroom. Everything looked brand new and shiny with a nice big claw tub and a stand up shower in the corner with a nice fancy vanity. The floor was all tiled black and the walls were a nice cream colour. Once the bath was ready candy helped me undress and set me in the bath which felt extremely nice against my very sore body helping me relax a tiny bit.

Candy washed my hair so thoroughly that it hurt, I didn't know that hair follicle's could actually hurt. After she finished rinsing my hair she grabbed my legs and shaved them before moving to my crotch and shaving it as well before she washed my body until my skin was red and burning. I felt so sore that it was hard to move but Candy was gentle with my red skin as she helped me out of the bath and wrapped me in a nice warm fluffy towel before sitting me back in front of the mirror as she brushed and blow dried my hair. As soon as my hair was dry and brushed she plugged in the straightener and waited for it to heat up. She left the room for a moment and when she came back she she had a very nice wine red slash neck semi formal lace dress with matching wine red heels. Once she got me in the dress and heels she sat me back down and straightened my hair before putting it into a nice slightly pulled back style with some nice hair pins before she moved to doing my makeup to match my outfit.
