Tatina POV
I get up before Craig. I need to go over to the hotel and talk to Jayne before I leave with him. I slip into my clothes quickly. I gather my phone and purse.
I rush over to him in the bed. I lean in to kiss him. He grabs my arm. “Where do you think you are going?” he says.
“I am going to get my bag and talk to Jayne before we leave,” I say.
He sits up in the bed. “I can send someone to get your bag. You do not have to get out. I can take care of everything,” he says.
“I know you can. I did want to talk to Jayne before we left,” I say.
He points to my phone, “Just call her,” he says.
“Craig, she has been so kind to me. Don’t you think I should tell her bye,” I say?
He relaxes. “You are right. Do you want me to go with you?” he asks.
“If you want,” I say.
“No No No, go ahead. I will order you breakfast,” he says.
I lean in and kiss him. What in the hell has gotten into him? He pulls me close to him. “You are mine,” he says.
I smile. “I know I am yours,” I respond.
I calmly leave the room. When I am out I run for the elevator. I need to get to Jayne. I cannot get to our hotel quickly enough. Something is wrong with him. He is not acting right.
When I get to our room I unlock the door. Jayne and Glenn are waiting for me. “Are you okay?” Jayne asks.
“I think so. He is being really weird. He did not want me to come back to see you. He wanted to send someone for my things. He grabbed my arm and just started being possessive, but then he backed down,” I say.
Glenn and Jayne looked at each other. Jayne rushed to my side. “You do not have to go to the house,” she says.
I sit down on the bed. “He told me about Julie, he told me about the breeder for their child. Did you know?” I ask.
“Yes, I knew about what they did,” she says.
“This is all very confusing to me. I do not understand why he blames our kind for what happened to him,” I say.
Glenn approaches me. “Tatina what you are doing is dangerous. You have to be careful with him. Do not let him think you are helping us. Try to keep your distance. Absolutely do not sleep with him or let him drink your blood. Do you understand,” Glenn says?
I nod my head. “I do. He told me there is one girl there and that she is being difficult. He told me that Draco is who she is promised to. He said he would handle her. He also said Lila was handling her now,” I say.
“They are probably torturing the poor woman,” Glenn says.
“Are you sure you can go back? You do not have to. We can figure out something that does not involve you,” Jayne says.
“No, I want to help,” I say.
I begin to gather my things.
“Give me your phone,” Glenn says.
Glenn takes my number and programs a number on my phone. “I put an emergency number in your phone it is under the spa. Just call it and hang up if you need me. I will trace it and be to you immediately,” Glenn says.
I shake my head. “I will be fine. I do not think he will hurt me as long as he thinks I am his,” I say.
Jayne helps me pack the last few things I brought with me. She hugs me. “Everything will be fine. I will be close and I will be coming to the house to check on you a lot until this is over. If they refuse to let me in, I will call Glenn,” she says.
“I am going to walk her out,” Glenn says.
Glenn opens the door for me and follows me out into the hall. “Did you do everything I told you too,” he asks.
