I wake up in the early morning and do a quick breakfast and set off for college. Luckily, I have one of my schoolmates, Emile in my college but she is studying bachelors in science, her specialization is physics. I text her to meet me in front of the office.
"Hey!" My eyes light up as I see the familiar blond amongst the flood of unknown people.
"When do you have classes?" I ask.
"My classes start pretty early. What about you?"
"Mine starts at noon," We talk as we climb the stairs.
"oh la la, look at that hottie," Emile purrs, interrupting me. Her eyes are set before us as we walk through the corridors of the second floor. I look where she is looking and my eyes fall on him.
He's leaning by the door of a classroom.
Soon, we see a girl step out of the classroom. As soon as his eyes fall on her, his face lights up and a grin spread over his face. He steps closer to the girl before warping one of his muscular arms around her waist and pulling her flush to his body. It's no surprise that he must have a girlfriend given his godlike features.
He mutters something in her ear which makes her giggle. Together they walk away without sparing anyone around them a second glance. They look so much into each other that they do not care about their surrounding.
"Lucky bitch," Emile mutters.
We go to the common room and talk before leaving for our classes. As I step inside the class, some people give me funny looks before resuming what they were doing before.
"Look who's here," I hear someone say. My head shoots up to find an amused girl looking at me. As far as I remember, her name is Holly. There are several other girls with her. They're looking at me with judging eyes. Holly mutters something under her breath before they start laughing like dying hyenas. It doesn't take me long to realize that she's talking about me.
I ignore her and busy myself by taking out my notebook and pen for the class.
After this class I'm ready to go home, I see him again in the corridor. He is talking to the black-haired girl from the welcoming program yesterday. They seem to be deep in conversation, discussing something personal and intimate.
The more I look at him, the more I am overwhelmed by emotions that I didn't know existed inside me. What is happening? I thought I was over him but now this? Am I sick? Or is this some new kind of lust that scientists are yet to discover and name?
I couldn't help but wonder what would have happened had I stayed? What would have happened had he seen me?
-HIM-
"What are you doing?" Brooke asks as she tries to peak at the papers I had been hiding behind for some hours. We are in my office, looking at some pack matters.
"Nothing," I growl with a mixture of anger and frustration. I am on the verge of losing control.
"What is it, Jake?" She presses, "You've been acting so different since last week!"
"Please, Brooke. Leave me alone, I am working," I tell her sternly while glaring at the notice the werewolf council sent me. Brooke looks at the paper before snatching the paper from my hands.
"Brooke!" I growl at her as she reads the notice.
"SHIT!" She yells as she reads the notice in her hand, "They can't do this!"
"OWWWWWW."
"Then what are you waiting for, you stupid?" Brooke growls at me and I sigh deeply. My family is nuts.

It's fresher's party and I came here with hopes that I may find her here. But I know she is not here after scanning the crowd. Even though the place is crowded with people, I combed through the crowd to look for her but I found nothing. Besides, I have this gut feeling that she is not here.
Something in me tells me that she is somewhere out there but whenever I get closer to her, she runs away. I wonder if she is a werewolf and if she is doing this knowingly. I would be hurt if she were to know that I am his mate and still chooses to run away from me.
I excuse myself before heading towards the building. I want to be alone to think properly. Suddenly, something stirs inside me and I feel pulled towards the exit. Acting on my instincts, I storm towards the exit.
I almost lose control when her scent hits me. It's the strongest here as if she has been here moments ago. My eyes fall on a piece of blue cloth lying on the floor. It smells like her. She is here!
My ears pick up faint footsteps. They seem to be running away. I am fast on my feet. My nose is up in the air, following the trail of her scent. I hear a whimper echo in the hallway ahead of me and I increase my speed.
I'll have her tonight. Chance is impatient inside me but excited at the same time. He wants to be let out. As soon as I exit the building, my eyes fall on a figure in the distance.
Mate!
Her back is facing as she gets into a car. The color of the cloth in my hand matches the dress she is wearing. Before I could do anything, the car pulls away from the parking lot before disappearing into the darkness. A growl escapes my lips when I realize what just happened.
She ran away!
